Do you think we should be majorly worried about this:

    Breaking News World

    46 mins ·
UK - UK terrorist threat level has been raised to 'severe',
Members of the public should always remain alert to the danger of terrorism and report any suspicious activity to the police on 999 or the anti-terrorist hotline: 0800 789 321.
Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:
  • No more than normal I would think, the threat has never really diminished and it pays to keep your eyes open and wits about you all the time anyway. I would think there are many people being monitored by TPTB and many lines of enquiry being pursued to try to keep us all as safe as is possible. We live in a volatile world with some very nasty organisations in it and agendas of thier own but I won't live my life being frightened of it all, if I did, they'd have won the war without a battle being fought. Don't put you and yours at risk needlessly, stay vigilant and always know where the way out is, that should keep you mostly out of harms way.

I agree Lynn , coming from where im from we have grew up being vigilant, aware, eyes open and honestly quite untrustworthy of strangers..................but as you say you cant live being frightened of whatever might happen, I nearly choked to death a week ago on a sweet , I not joking and to be honest that was the most petrifying experience of my life and yes I have been 20 foot away from a blast bomb and consider the sweetie experience worse. everyone is scared of something in some context or another.

  • Precisely CRAIGY, I grew up with the nuclear war threat hanging over us and can remember parents trying to work out how to get the house we lived in safe in the event of a nuclear bomb being dropped, then the problems in your neck of the woods and bombs here in the UK, Then all this malarkey of late so life has always had a bogey man hanging around on the fringes, his name has changed over the decades but the faceless thuggery hasn't and the fear is thier victory every time. There are more things to hurt you than what ifs aren't ther love, Lyn xxx.

Stick with the chocolate petal, it's really a health food when compared to a lemon bon bon anyway!!!

The BBC news has just said that the increasing the level of threat from terrorism is intelligence led and that severe means that an attack is highly likely but Theresa May says that an attack is not thought to be imminent. There is another level of alert which is 'critical' and we've been there on occasion in the past but not yet this time round.

my prep arrangements for the potential terror attack etc, will be to try and grow more food etc next year.
as terrorist attacks can come in all forms, not only with bombs, guns etc.. they could contaminate our food supply.. a bit like stealth warfare... etc Plus by bulk buying when I do go shopping, it is lessoning my journeys so lessoning the odds if that makes sense..

Christmas shopping again will be done locally and online...
Work to live= not live to work
  • CTC live life, don't let them force you into hiding, you can't let the threat stop you from enjoying your life, be sensible and take all the precautions you feel you need but don't stop living, for your own sake love!!!
