Sorry but I can't see any unusual link?
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

On a different subject, I used to have one of those small pans which passed down thru my mother from my grandmother.

I bet that was painful :D. Hope you cleaned it well, lol.

I've not been able to access the Old Style Boards for a couple of hours, just got a list of typed forums available and nothing would load, anyone else had the same problem?

I've just found a very interesting book on Amazon 'The Preppers Cookbook' by Tess Pennington, looks as though it might be worth adding to my collection.

Nor can I, what are we supposed to see? I use firefox with ghostery, blocks a lot of ads and things. I'm quite use to having white bars at the side of webpages where I suspect a lot of junk would be hogging my bandwith otherwise.
Lovely day out there, I'm going to take a chance and start putting a few seeds in the ground, the weedlets are popping up everywhere so I guess the ground is warm enough.

    Same here.
It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.

Vivavitosi I just saw your sig line. Maybe it could be expanded? Too often these days the focus seems to be on changes (yes even my GP) but an innocent looking blemish or spot that has been with you for a while - unchanged - also needs to be investigated.
    As I now know.

I saw the request to test the new forum, but haven't had the time to go exploring. Seems to have vanished now anyway.

Might just have to invest in a copy of that book, vivatifosi, it has direct relevance to a member of my family who was involved with the Great Gnome Fishing Contest in a certain harbour town on the South Coast many years ago, where all the garden gnomes in the town somehow found their way down to the harbour one night & were discovered fishing peacefully there the next morning. If I remember correctly, it took the police about 6 weeks to re-home them all correctly again.

Greyqueen, you might want to ask your Mum to measure the little pan she got for you to make sure it's the right one.

In my Aldi the one egg pans in the pretty colours are £2.49 and are in a completely different display to the £3.49 pans in black only. The £2.49 pans are about 12cm diameter while the £3.49 pans, while small (they are labelled 'mini'), are quite a bit bigger, prob about 20cm diameter.

I got the diddy one egg pan in turquoise :-) Thanks Bedsit Bob for the heads-up, I have wanted one of these for a while.
:) Thanks, Rosie, just spoke to Mum and she said the mini pan is 12 cm across the base but I'll see it next week and she said if I don't like it, tough, she's having it for herself...........:rotfl:

Been gardening like a good 'un and it was sunny but there was a strongish cold wind so it didn't feel particularly warm out, but envigorating. Lottie is looking pretty darned good for early March, if I say so myself. One pal came to visit the lottie and I visited another afterwards and am absolutely cream crackered.

I did think that the problem with buying a bunker which had been advertised all over the meeja would be that the world and its wife would know where is was. You want a secret secret bunker for the post-SHTF moments.

Thanks pineapple. Firstly and most importantly, sorry you're going through a scary blue head moment. If you want someone just to chat to, please feel free to pm me.

I don't know if MSE has changed the rules on sigs but I used pretty much every character and had to keep rewriting until I got it all in. I've had the same sig for a long time and about once a year I get a PM from someone whose seen it and gone to see their doctor, which is great because it means it works. I also get comments that it isn't my business and that it's a bit like being part of a nanny state. I tend to ignore those as it's a path I've walked and if my experience helps someone, it's worth doing.

If you wouldn't mind, PM me the change you think you'd make and I'll see if I can fit it in. I'm open to change if the space is available.
