D&DD glad I made you laugh, it does look organised, mine looks like Steptoes back yard. But I am determined to get it sorted out for next year as its crucial to my plans to be productive.

OH rescued some plant pots from the fishing place as they have spruced the place up with plants and they will line up nicely in my little greenhouses. Odd pots tend to fall over and drive me mad.

2tonsils, have a lovely birthday and I hope things dont get too bad over there, we will be thinking of you and yours.

If anyone wants a chocspread sub remember Thriftlady posted one on her wartime ration thread :D if I find it I will link to it as its very useful as is the whole thread which newer members may not have seen?

Ginny fruit is a wonderful thing just plant it,not much faff and it pays you back so well for the space and I know you have so little time for yourself as it is.. I work a bit at a time usually in a mad rush but where its sort of sections it helps. I have rhubarb, blackberries, raspberries, strawbs, red and blackcurrants, loganberry and tayberry,lemon,lime,nectarine,apples,goosegogs,jostaberry..we like our fruit here :rotfl:and the garden only measures about 15 feet by 30 !
  • HI all
Have a wondeful birthday 2tonsils , hope you have a relaxing day and don't have to cope with too much.

Went to h*me bargains to look for the wind up torch mentioned earlier (think it was PAH) thank you, got one for a bargain £2.99 and am very happy with it. It will certainly do for an emergency read in the dark if required. They also had little wind up dynamo torches for 99p so got a couple of those too:D.

I had ordered a new first aid kit for the car off e*bay and it came today, and im very impressed. It is chock full of required bits and bobs and was only £8 (free p£p) I had worked out i couldnt buy the bits individually so succumbed.
We do a number of outdoor activities so I like to have a decent one in the car (the girl guide in me never really left:rotfl:).
    Have a lovely Friday

No I think Pop is right, it was Frank Muir, showing my age here but I loved call my bluff :D

Supermarket water - the ones I bought recently are July 2013; I've been looking at collapsible bottles for water, anyone have any info about which are best, most sturdy etc, please?
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

Completely forgotten Call my Bluff. For some reason I thought it was Robert Robinson
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

you know meme that song's going to bug me now :rotfl:

bupster good to see you again

WCS I would usually rotate mine out as it hits the use by date if I've any that old (I do try to be good but you miss one sometimes!), the water would still be good for a while after but I find the bottles start to get a bit 'soft' nearer the date.

sorry rosie crossposted with you I look out for them on sale at sports direct/wilkinsons/millets etc not paid more than around £2 so far and personally I think they are all pretty much as good as each other.I'd love one of those bath thingy ones but we have no bath here now so it wouldn't be a lot of use lol
