After your experiement Bedsit Bob, I popped into the 99p store in big town today to see if they had any of those lamps and success! I now have 2 in my possession. They had a load more but as I was already weighed down with a demi-john (had to buy one in the end) and other odds and ends I was running out of hands.
Assuming they haven't run out by the morning and anyone wants some sent to them who is without 99p store, I can pick up some more tomorrow.Spam Reporter Extraordinaire

just been on a bit of a thanking spree, agreed to stay with client last night , as leaky roof may have hit his electrics and put him in the dark and frightened him, thankfully all was fine.... might suggest he buys a sunnan lamp .. for any future scares , ... rest of the day off to relax0

Found a foraging book you haven't had at the library today. Foraging, discover free food from fields, streets, gardens and the coast by Paul Chambers. Let me know if you want it.
Also a nice Foraging cookbook. Can't remember the author but again it's one you haven't had.Dor0 -

off to the 99p store for me soon! i think there is one in nottingham, didnt see these lamps on their web page tho
I hope everyone is ok
we've had a financial SHTF the past couple of months - one of my cats developed an open wound (no idea how or for how long it had been like it, we spotted it mid sept) in the equivalent of her armpit, we've spent over £700 plus lots of unpaid time off work trying to get her better but by monday she was actually in a worse state than when we first noticed it mid september (various antibiotic resistant infections kept appearing) so as she was completely miserable with the whole affair, weeks in a collar and crated and more recently in restrictive bandaging to stop her moving the limb too much, we took the difficult decision to euthanise her. so last night she slipped off to rainbow bridge and as we left the vets a massive firework shone brightly in the sky above us and I smiled hoping that a little part of stealth was shooting off to new pastures.
just thought I'd share as I've always said SHTF takes many guises
keep warm and dry everyone and give your pets a squidge from me xBlah0
