Try putting a spoonful of blackcurrant jam in a cup and filling with hot ( not boiling ) water and sipping it for sore throat.
Just been nagging youngest on skype. She fell over yesterday and has a couple of very nasty grazes that need looked at and dressed.
Threatened if she did not go to local walk in and get herself sorted I would be on the train
Making a lamb and mushroom pie tonight with puff pastry topping and maybe mash and going out to shops later to see if I can get frozen smoked haddock as there was none on the shelf yesterday.
Might have youngest home for a few days next week just as middle dd goes off on holiday.
It's a bit like those weather things where one person goes out as another comes in"This site is addictive!"

Poundland sell gas powered "cooker lighters".

BTW. Don't bother going to the Bury 99p store, looking for LED Camping Lanterns.
They sold the last 6 this morning.0
