Dunno why it's called Real Life anyway; it's full of implausible events, bizarre occurrences and strange people.

Have you been messing with that Infinite Improbability Drive again? :p
  • PINEAPPLE you know that old saying ' a finger in every pie?' Hmmmmmm - ducks and runs!!!

I don't think you want to be sticking your finger in a duck with the runs.

Is this any use ? http://lifehacker.com/5402380/how-to-make-a-buddy-burner-emergency-stove

    Or this

Shattered after all the daily hospital treatments for DH but managed to make a huge pot of leek and potato soup and a home made loaf for lunch and then stuffed marrows or savoury mince with mash for tonight.

DH hoping to see a gardening programme later while I sort out the dishes and tidy up kitchen before dd comes home from week abroad for work.

Started to take glucosamine for pains in knee and it seems to be helping so going to carry on with it over the winter.

:) Nope. I just live my life as a Norma Normal and weird stuff happens all around me. Like if I'm ever on a train and a strange person gets aboard, they will inevitably take the seat next to me and tell me their life story.

Shoulda been a counsellor. Or an espionage agent.

I'm disappointed, tho; was expecting bra/ boob jokes.

ETA Elona, thank you, they're both just the thing I'm doing. I'm going to run a few of them up as and when the empty cans and cardboard become available as I'm melting candlewax anyway and it's a good time to do it. Thought a few of these little darlings tucked away wouldn't come amiss.

  • The washing up by hand made me laugh I do that all the time.

  • Bab Bob -lol! Ooooooohhhh behave.

Who do you think you are, Austin Powers?
  • The pouch will already be in designed into each cup, ready to fill with your valuables.

Aren't all bras filled with their owner's "valuables"
  • Today, I went to pick some blackberries, growing near where I work.

Someone has beaten me to it. There were hardly any left. :(

I didn't get enough to fill a 1/2 pint glass.

Goddamit, I ran through a thesaurus trying to phrase that sentence tactfully...'Goodies' just didn't sit right, so to speak.

GreyQueen, most department stores do fillet bras. I think I saw them in Primani a few months ago.
  • Hands up I've striped most of the blackberry bushes near me! I picked up the jars of jam me and my friend made ( my mate has a printer for posh labels ) I have 8 jars of jam mixed up of apple and blackberry and damsons and apple jam. Very pleased with myself and so are the kids as they have been living on jam sarnies and porridge and jam.
I'm very behind as I've not tidied my cupboard ( it has dead space so no knows it there with the breadmaker in the way ) to put my stores in. My everyday cupboard is looking lovely and full but I'm itching to do my Christmas cupboard ( my mum would buy one extra thing and put away for Christmas in the months coming up to Christmas, stuff like tinned ham, tinned fruitcocktail and tiptop cream ! yep I'm a child of the 80s !
I have a few bottles of water but not a much, was spotted by my friend and used the excuse that I thought it was own brand lemonade and picked it up by mistake, when I was unloading my shopping.
I'm in bed all snuggley as I just fanced a quiet night, so night nightx
