Completely and utterly new to it peony. So much so I still don't really know what I'm doing and so far only have one meal in my reportoire, lasagne with courgette as the pasta.

It's something DH has wanted to try for a while and has managed to convince me connecting it to OS living - fruits if the land etc. given I'm needing medication to get through life at the moment I have given the go-ahead in the hope that it will help my mental health.

I'm reading the primal blueprint by mark sissons at the minute - author of marks daily apple blog if you're interested

I've just gone primal/low carb too oddly enough. I am just feeding the carb stash to the RV.

I've got the Primal Blueprint and I have recently started reading it myself. It will be interesting to compare how we find it.

I started eating primal last June after being told that I am pre-diabetic. Also, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, gluten sensitivity and fibromyalgia. I found eating primal helped me a lot and I lost about 18lbs without any effort. However, my mum then had a severe stroke and it knocked my confidence and I lost my way with this way of eating. However, now I am back, having regained a stone! plus fibro got worse again.

Courgette pasta sounds good. I know americans talk about making pasta out of squash.

    and cutting it.

We had a fantastic day, all the moreso because there was a a few months when I didn't think Herself was going to make it this far.
The support of various OS posters was invaluable in preserving my sanity - Thank you all.

I shall return to more conventional prepping shortly :)

What a wonderful looking wedding - it must have been very emotional too after all you have been through. What an amazing cake and you both look beautiful. Am raising my cup of tea in a toast to you both.

Have my angry head on  disabled access...mutter mutter... 2 steps up into a building is not disabled access. A lift that fits only the wheelchair and hubby in isnt good. Using the back exit with a ramp is great on the way out BUT I had to be taken down in lift then wait for hubby to come down alone, only to find the back exit locked and no lighting so had to stand in the dark with the glimmer of my mobile as the only light. Hubby came down in the lift, excited that someone had taken the trouble to help us only to find us stood there like wallies with the light on my phone clicking on and off. Gobsmacked was the only way to describe the look on his face. I then had to stand him up, fold the wheelchair and cram the 3 of us back in the lift then rinse and repeat with the steps and doorway. I did stand there in the dark mentally going over what I had in my bag in case we got stuck down there - pain killers, drink, lighter and 2 pairs of jewellery pliers. Note to self - time to make a bag for the back of the wheelchair with supplies in.

I cried through my vows in both ceremonies - so much for my reputation as a hard hearted Northumbrian ;)

That really isn't acceptable, I'm not surprised you're angry, I'm mad just reading it.

ginnynit, I hope you are going to complain. Your experience sounds horrendous and has made me angry too. I hope you don't have the need to return there.

nuatha, thank you for sharing the photos of your special day. Sounds and looks like it was a magical and emotional one and the cake looks amazing.

:) Thanks for sharing your wedding pix, nuatha, looks fantastic. Love the colours Herself is wearing, too.

And impressed as hell by that cake.........!

Going to work shortly (boo! hiss!) but will be at the lottie later to see what is going on in my little bit of Englandhire.

Clue; french bean germinates. French bean is eaten by something indifferent to the allure of slug pellets. GQ arrives, scowls, feels like stamping her Doc Marten gardening boots in a temper, recalls she's actually an adult and the lottie is in sight of the road, decides to swear instead......quietly.

But inside I was tantrumming and muttering s'not fair.
