From Ryanair site.
'If you are not willing to accept this additional charge you may cancel your flights and apply for a full refund'
Which bit of full refund is it that you don't understand.0 -
Ryanair increases are detailed below. All bookings made for after 1st July will be automatically debited with the additional charge, and if passengers want to cancel the flight they can do so before 13th July. You can find out more about these on their website www.ryanair.com
As you will see from the table below, the charges vary depending on the size of the airport. Madrid has the highest charges, followed by Barcelona. Malaga is on a par with Palma, Tenerife south and Alicante. Since Ryanair stopped flying to Girona it has very few operations which is illustrated in its lowest charge of 0,42 euros.

i recieved an email saying i was going to have to pay the extra tax. so went on to the ryanair flights to see how much it would cost me to cancell and rebook , i found out my flights were going to be £100 cheaper than when i booked them back in april but couldnt risk booking them again to allow me to save this saving as ryanair had not quite made their minds up if they were going to charge us the extra and let us cancell . two days later i recieved another email saying i could cancell and get all my money back unsure that i was going to get all back i rang them and they assured me i was going to get my full £318 by now the flights had gone up again but i still was going to save myself £50 so i so started the procceed of cancelling . as soon as i had come off the phone they had put the flights up again lol i thought omg what had i done id just lost my holiday flights for the sake of £3.50 the going out flight was still there and it was £50 cheaper than i had paid so i thought oh well rebook it at least you will get to go lol i rebooked for £59 for the two of us and thought maybe i will find a return with a better company, any way the next day idecieded to go back on ryanair look at the flights again when i worked it out i was still going to save myself £18 and the exta £3.50 as well so i rebooked i have not got my refund back yet but they did say 5/6 days and this was only monday night so fingers crossed i will recieve my full refund as promised and iam happy to have saved over £20 from when i origionaly booked back in april .0

Yes I did mean an increase in the actual flight cost - sorry for the confusion !!0

I flew from Alicante on the 6th of July and now have received this email. Do I have to retrospectively pay the fee.
If so why do they still have my card details after I've flown with them?
Thanks0 -
My daughter is flying with BMI Baby and no longer has the credit card that the flights were paid with.
She's also not checking in as only taking hand luggage, so how is she going to pay?
Don't want to have any problems at the airport!!0 -

When I had a refund from Ryanair it was paid in full, without fees. The amount was refunded to the card used for purchase and happened within days.0 -

I booked a flight with BMI baby obviously before the tax was decided (December) and flew from Spain on the 11th of July. Got an email on the 13 July telling me they want to debit my account for the additional amount from the week starting 23rd of July. (which is the first I've heard of this)
Even though it's after the flight can they still do this? Also I with them to contact me to request payment rather than allow them to access my debit card. Is there anything I can do to stop them doing this?0
