Spain has just put VAT up 3%, perhaps they'll add that to the increase as well.0

I had to cancel my holiday too, (flight was due 5th July) due to personal circumstances, and have been lucky I suppose that we are able to get the refund, or so they say, I have had no confirmation of this yet?!!
I am not even sure if this will happen as we just had to not show up for our flights as I wasnt able to get ahold of Ryan air (after many attempts) to discuss options with them about the tax and our circumstances. So I will be intereted to know if there is a loop hole that states that you can only claim if your flight has not happened yet?
But I agree with the statement above by anonone, do we not have any consumer rights, after purchasing in full the flights agreeing on the product sold at the time (taxes etc)??0 -
it may only be a small amonut but will good ole ryanair add on thier £6 charge for each transaction eh! ???????0

I have had the email from RyanAir stating extra will need to be paid.
It goes to the website showing the price in Euros of the extra amount. Is this the amount extra to pay per person? So for example Barcelona is €8.95, is that the amount I will pay extra0 -
Got the email about the increase to our flights to the Canaries in August, wondered if it might be cheaper to cancel and re-book rather than pay the increase. Flights have gone up £170 since we booked 3 weeks ago.
We either put up or shut up !0 -
I bought my return flight to Spain without Taxes, and they still want the Extra Tax money, can they do this?0

I received the email from Ryanair and our flights have only gone up by 1.87 euros each (about £1.50 each) which is not much to fuss about. Wonder where Harry's gran's £170 has come from.£10day.2014=3213/2015=3421/2016=3238/2017=2702/2018=498..APR=12.03/300

I'm tempted to take the refund but am hugely suspicious of ryanair. Do they actually give you all your money back or do they slip in a huge fee somewhere or only give you a portion of your money back? Has anyone experience of this process?0
