Thank you everybody for the replies.
Just to clarify, I did tell her when I realised she was in my home town that I was upset and that I didn't think it was acceptable behaviour, but her attitude was that it really wasn't that big a deal.
I think I will leave things for now, it will be obvious to her from my tone about how upset I was, so I'll cease contact. She can contact me if she wishes, and visit me, but I won't be going along with any plans in her home town.
I think lots of you are right in that she thinks her behaviour is ok as no one ever pulls her up on it.0
