trust me if they do have an anti clogging agent in them then they don't work very well and Santer is notorious for sticking up for epsom printers.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

Because I have nine of them, trouble free, and I can spell it0 -
I have a MG5350. First thing I bought was
http://www.cityinkexpress.co.uk/ciss/canon/mg5150/mg-series/dye-ink
I never unwrapped the ink that came with the printer.
As for perfromance, works better than the CISS that I had with my old epson. As for cost, similar to cheap refillable carts or cheap oem carts, but hopefully no ongoing hassle (not the case for the epson one i had). Only had it 6 months, but no issues so far. You can override the warnings of low/no ink very easily (press/hold the stop button on the printer for a few seconds and it will continue trying to print).0 -

Don't do this if you have no ink in the cartridges as you will burn out the printhead, a new one is around £60.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
Hey, OP here. Thanks for all the links and stuff - I'll be sure to check these out next time I have to refill.
Also, I have a cartridge that I know is full but the computer won't register it. I think there's a chip on it that must be faulty? Very annoying!0 -
simples, change the chip using another with the same ink color,0

As others have said, I would go for ebay.0
