I've just bought a refill of all the ink for my printer (Canon MG5150), which needs four cartridges, and it cost so much money!
I was just wondering if anybody knows any cheaper sites than Staples for buying ink from?

Do you want genuine inks or compatibles?0

For compatibles I would go to ijt or ebay.
I would not reccomend refilling old cartridges as some have a chip that tells the printer they are empty and
so will not work even when re-filled.

The chips on these cartridges can be reset, so if you get a chip re-setter for Canon 525 and 526 cartridges there is no reason why you shouldn't refill them yourself, plus your machine will not nag you about using non OEM carts.
This is the first link i found, we get ours from a commercial supplier.

I have found that because I use my printer infrequently, it has been better for me to use genuine cartridges because a special fluid is included to prevent clogging. I get them through Amazon.0

No doubt like the special petrol from branded forecourts.;)"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Biggest laugh I've had for a long time from a post on this forum, complete rubbish, I work in the business and I've seen badly clogged heads from OEM cartridges, the biggest cause of clogged print heads is lack of use, as long as you are buying trusted brand compatibles or refills then there is no reason why they should not preform as good as the OEM cartridges, after all as far as I know, none of the main printer manufacturers make their own ink.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0
