Jacket left in cloakroom given to charity

So how do you explain that when I went to the club to look for it, there were loads of tatty coats which had been languishing there for months but the nice leather jacket has "been given to charity"!!!!
We don't as you didn't give us that in your OP! If we'd seen something saying "there were lots of others there with tickets on them from months ago which makes me suspicious of their claim" we'd be having a different conversation from the start.
Even with the implied "A member of staff or someone else has stolen it" now in play I don't honestly think there is anything you can do. The club isn't liable for stuff you leave behind (even in bad circumstances like your daughters).
I hope your daughter is feel better soon.0
