Where do I start.
Leave all the other details out, DD 19, full grant and loan, living at home , doing honours degree at local uni- will pay no keep.
Runs a nearly new car, bought by Dad.
Boyfriend stays over a lot.
Both have max grants at same uni.
I do not want to be mother who cooks and cleans anymore.
I look after my parents 24/7
What is fair?

No, come on, really, you're the PARENT.
If she wants to live in your house she has to pay keep, and so does the boyfriend. How will she cope when she flies the nest if you dont show her she has to pay her way now.
She is lucky to have got away rent free until 19. Tell her she is paying rent or moving out. Her decision.0 -
They are talking the proverbial because you are allowing them to.
House Rules, write a list.
Contribute to the household bills, (both of them)
Also a share of the chores.
Do it, but you have to follow it through - always - for your own sake.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
They are now going to look at flats to move out- good on em, but I feel awful.
But then why should I?
Truth is, Daddy earns lots, she is a spoilt bratt.
I pick this up though, she gets max grants cos of me on IS, but he buys hetr top stuff, and never, ever tells her not to speak to me like a spoilt madam. That alone would have been worth millions to me in our marrriage.
So, how much board for a 4 bed luxury house, per week?0
