Never heard of someone meeting the continuing care criteria whilst being look after by a family member. Continuing care means nursing care is required and usually the patient is so unstable and unpredictable that it is not the care they could receive at home by someone unqualified.
And no, looking after your parents allowing you to remain in your home and get an income from it doesn't make you a good daughter. You rely on your parents for an income, your children are doing the same.0 -

Seems the OP is not a nice person. Quite ironic that she is sponging and taking from her parents, treating them as cash cows and then her daughter does it to her.
