'Life is difficult, full of struggles and lulls; We are like salmon swimming against the current. To travel upstream, we have to battle waterfalls, dams, and raging torrents, but we have no choice; we have to keep swimming or be swept away..........The struggles don't come to an end, but there are lulls in-between times; backwaters where we can rest for a while and enjoy the moment before the next obstacle gets thrown in our way. And that's what life is, what it is meant to be; a series of struggles and lulls. And whatever situation you're in now, it's going to change. So what are you in? Lull or Struggle? Rain or going to the beach? Learning or enjoying? Dead fish or healthy fish?'

Richard Templar from Rules of Life

Well I am not doing very well today.

I have already had a choc bar and some crisps. It is really hot and humid in work today, really tired.

Looks like I might have to work on Saturday as well; as I am off for two weeks after that, and I need to get things finished off. However, I wanted to start my garden project.

I might see if I can work late tomorrow and get things finished and then have saturday to garden.

  • Wow, you have lots to plant in your 'Victory Garden' ...... I will look forward to reading your new blog with interest. Blogger is a great platform I've used it for years..... Easy to navigate and update x. Good luck with your new venture!

Also, have a look at the Hick's books about the Law Of Attraction, interesting read.

    Have a lovely day.

Well the trouble is I have left it too late for this year, apart from a few courgettes in pots, maybe.

However, when I post my first pictures on my blog this weekend, you will see that I have a lot of work to get done before next year.

  • Hi Folks,

Well I have not been able to start my gardening today as I had hoped, as I am in bloody work.

I am off for two weeks as of yesterday, but I had to go in today, as things over-ran. So hopefully, I can get some gardening done tomorrow.

    Tasks for today:-

    1) Work
    2) Meal plan for next week
    3) Shopping on way home
    4) Make a loaf of bread

Hoepfully tomorrow I can buy my strimmer and start my blog.

  • Great to see the blog up and running. I will be keeping an interested eye on it. Maybe I could pick up a couple of tips and pointers, I know I need them :-)
