    Good morning :D

I got a bit lost yesterday and didn't manage to get on here :o I did manage to put out the bins, recycling, food bin, poo pick, clean out rabbit, stack DW, wash food bin, some mending (a loose button on the trousers I was wearing  and an operation on a poorly dolly), hung out washing, washed up. Didn't manage to get out with the dog though :( and he was horrible last night.

Today I have toddler group this morning, then a man is coming to give us a quote on a new door. i think i may be in for a shock, but it is becoming a necessity now :(

Hugs, sticks and spoons for those that need them.

Hi, I keep meaning to join this as my house is a tip (illness, house guest and work related) so EVERY room needs a deep clean. I've been reassured that you're all lovely people so won't be too shocked by the state of my house and my seeming lack of motivation to sort it :rotfl: I think I just benefit from sharing - it sounds really sad, but sharing my experiences with reducing my debts has really helped to keep me motivated (think it's just watching those figures come down!) so hopefully this will do the same for my home.

Anyway, I have a few weeks off work whilst I transition to my new job and get CRB and occupational health sorted, so I think it's time to finally get this sorted and try to establish some sort of routine... no more excuses!

Welcome to the band of Flyladies! We are indeed a very friendly bunch - and some of us are better at flying than others..:o:o:o

My tip would be to aim for level 1 at the beginning...

Valli - she looked beautiful - hope she had a good time...

    Morning all
Thanks for all the congrats, we had a lovely meal, DH made Lamb and Mint Spag Bol, it tastes divine and I love it. He then fell asleep on the sofa and spent the night there so I went to bed and had a very good nights sleep so I've woke up full of life today :]] Perfect way to spend an anniversary if you ask me.

Sports Day for DS today so thats this afternoon filled up and this morning I'm gardening at a neighbours as the sun is shining so thats this morning done so that means time after tea to do "stuff" so I'll catch up later

Valli - cracking photo of DD, hope she had a lovely time, she looks gorgeous

    Morning all and welcome Amy

Been for my weekly walk with my friend and put the washing on the line before I went.

DS3 off school with a heavy cold and cough
DS2 has put the guard on my new hedge trimmers
DS1 getting dressed to come and help me hedge cut so off we go.

Flying postponed until the sun goes in - got to make the most of it.

I'll join you jjef, as soon as I've finished this post.

Have flown this morning after a couple of days with grumbling migraine - thank goodness I feel more energetic today. Three loads of washing are on the line, one is whirling round as I write, and there's another to do after that plus a couple of blouses to hand wash.

If it's crossed off the list, it's done, and I hope to get a few more bits finished in the HHC:

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level Two
    mop the floor
    Level Three
    Clean all up high spaces
    Clean a window or two

Tuesday - Master Bedroom and Landing
    Level Three
Mirror, Mirror on the wall who's the shiniest of all
    Tidy bedside cabinets, inside
    Wipe the lampshade

Wednesday - Living Room, Hall & Stairs
    Level Two
    Dust any dusty bits
    Level Three
Bash the cushions outside, see the dust fly
    Wipe lamps/lights shades/bulbs and stands
    Extras
Wipe front/back doors inside and out (if rain permits)

    Thursday - Kids' Rooms/spare room/conservatory/Study
    Level Two
    Filing or shredding
    Level Three
Deep clean a window frame (or two) remove any yucky mould
    HHI
    Extras
    Sort a drawer anywhere

Last night the ornamental grasses got their come-uppance! I am also fighting an ongoing war with lily beetle larvae on my beautiful potted lilies. Every time I think I've cleared the plants, I spot another (they look like bird droppings but stuck under the leaves). The only cure is to pick the little blighters off and squash them before they turn all the leaves to lace.

Racing to catch up with you now, jjef!
