Valli, your DD looks absolutely beautiful - you must be a very proud mum.x

And Helen Jelly, have a super anniversary and I hope the meal is good - is it a surprise or do you know what you are having?

We're having savoury jacket potatoes here, with a salad - another easy meal! (But yummy!). Did loads of shopping, cleaning etc at friends and nearly spent as long as if I was at work! Anyway, relaxing with second cuppa now and all I've done tonight is put shopping away and brought in washing OH had remembered to put out. Got him some computer games and a book so far for his birthday. Will get something else Fri and am treating him out to a meal on Sun.

It looks like everyone has been busy, I used to work very long hours, but am only part-time now, and it's still busy enough with just having us two at home and me here more of the time. I wonder now how I coped, but didn't use to think about it, just got on with it! Good vibes to everyone, and I hope you all get time for yourself.

    Evening all

    Been to cricket
Been to B&Q, treated myself to some small light (cheap) hedge trimmers - I'll get the cost back after doing my Rabbis garden and then I'll have them to keep and for my hedge :D

Then went into Waitrose on a bargain hunt with DS3 and got loads of lovely super reduced stuff (£2-£3 each item down to 10-20p) so lunch for the boys for the next couple of days sorted plus stuff for soup etc and some cake and yoghurt treats for now.

Off to do the list and then reclaim the kitchen with a cuppa and get DS3 off to bed.

Valli - DD looks beautiful, hope she has a lovely time

I want to pop to the shops to get some supplies in on my way home, avoiding the need to take the toddlers shopping with me later in week

Hope everyone well and flying x

Ok been pretty busy today, about the only thing I've done is wiped the back patio doors because for some reason I gave dd a chocolate biscuit and I'm sure your imagination will tell you the rest.

I did pop to home bargains to get some stash put away, also got two whoopsie honeysuckles so have planted those, they were quite tall already so have wrapped them around the bottom of the arch and hopefully they will go mad! Will be nice if they met at the top, pretty flowers dangling and lovely scent...

Got an email from Argos saying more reductions, have reserved the chad valley wooden dolls house, £5. I think dd will like it for Xmas and its not too flashy and elaborate for a (will be) two year old. Need to go collect that tomorrow. And find whsmith to get some more scrapbook inserts...

Kitchen is dire, but I cba which isn't like me, but finished work for the week and tired, and I will leave it till morning. Tots a bit late to bed but betting they won't be late getting up...

    Debt-free and Proud!
Hi, I keep meaning to join this as my house is a tip (illness, house guest and work related) so EVERY room needs a deep clean. I've been reassured that you're all lovely people so won't be too shocked by the state of my house and my seeming lack of motivation to sort it :rotfl: I think I just benefit from sharing - it sounds really sad, but sharing my experiences with reducing my debts has really helped to keep me motivated (think it's just watching those figures come down!) so hopefully this will do the same for my home.

Anyway, I have a few weeks off work whilst I transition to my new job and get CRB and occupational health sorted, so I think it's time to finally get this sorted and try to establish some sort of routine... no more excuses!

What a beautiful young lady you've got Valli. I hope she had a good time.

Over Humpday and sliding towards the weekend. I'm up to 28h so far this week so I'll get some overtime as well. I'm not as tired as I thought I would be but it's hard keeping the flying going.

DS1 had an interview for warehouse work. He hears on Friday. Fingers crossed.

Had my hair cut last night. My usual hairdresser spent the whole hour telling me the ins and outs of her love life. I will look for another stylist, I just wanted to read the trashy magazine.

I need to make packed lunches so I'd better shift. Little ones are in breakfast club at 7.50am. DD2 has a trip to Hatfield Forest and I need to find her some wellies that fit.
