I've had similar but the bidder emailed before bidding to say if they won they wouldn't be able to pay for a week and was it still OK to bid. I didn't see a problem as they had advised me, and it all went smoothly (if a week later than planned!)0

thanks for all your replies. I've decided to wait a few more days to see if she actually pays on the day she says she will & if she doesn't then I'll report her, block her & relist my item. I appreciate all of you posting0

That is such a pain. I had a buyer do this to me for a Christmas item. They asked me to wait for payment until payday (a week before Christmas) and then they still didn't pay!
Of course, it was too late to relist the item, so I'm now stuck with it for another 5 months before I can put it back on there!
(I wouldn't mind, but it was a relisted item anyway. The first buyer was abroad and after I told her that they wouldn't work in her country and that the postage would be more than the cost of the item, we cancelled the transaction. I'd have been happy to give the bloody thing away by Christmas Eve!)"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
just noticed that my buyer has bought something TWO DAYS AFTER my auction ended and has had feedback added to say that she paid instantly - not holding much hope on her paying me now!!!0

Checked out their feedback and immediately thought Benefit Fraud as they were selling brand new shoes on Ebay, trying to buy cheap and sell on at a profit, or they had a shoe fetish:D
not all benefits are income related

Wind your neck in - the only thing ridiculous (apart from your 1st post) is you trying to equate a buyer on ebay with my employer.
You seem to think that anyone should wait up to 2 weeks for money that is owed to them, its not a problem.
Would you accept your employer saying that they cannot pay you for 2 weeks?
Would you go in to Tescos, pay for you food and be told that they will send it to you in 2 weeks?
Lets hope you do not buy anything from me,but i would love to buy something from you.;)Lose is to not win......Loose is not tight......get it right!0 -
