Need help with landlord trying to end tennancy after 1 month

Oh I just read a forum thread on here about the landlord having post redirected and not telling the mortgage company they are letting the property out.
Although I have text for a postal address, I feel there will be no reply as in the past when I requested the oven to be looked at I had no reply and asking about the deposit I had no reply.
I think I shall send her a letter to this address, and if it doesnt turn up. I know it will have got to her due to redirection.
Although can that mess up my position? as I am technically posting to myself? or do I send it recorded and once its signed for by her it shows its been received.
Never recorded, as if she refuses to sign for it, or is out when postie calls, she will get a card through the door, and if she doesn't pick it up from sorting office, she will never receive it and it will be returned to you after 14 working days!0 -
only just moved in together, so this hassle doesnt help0

Oh God,
I've had a reply- No need now as xxx<(my address) is now my address0 -
So...
Get lock cylinders changed as matter of urgency.
If you have a webcam you may want to have it set up just in case.
Save the text. Contact TRO pronto tomorrow.
There's a link I gave in another thread which you may find of use, in case police involvement becomes necessary - see here0 -
this is just silly0

I don't wish to make you paranoid, but try to refrain from posting too much personal information. This is a public forum, and whilst I appreciate you want to give as much info as possible, but certain personal facts which are individual to you and your OH, all narrow you down as a particular person, and your LL may be a member here, or could soon join if they find they are out of their depth with their lack of letting knowledge and start trawling the net for advice. Just give us the minimum info needed to respond to your questions!
Read through this thread again, take on board all the advice you have been given, and speak to the recommended organisations tomorrow to re-inforce your growing knowledge of your rights as a tenant, and other support you can gain.
Good luck!0 -

As per the previous posts they are making this up as they go along. You have a 6 month tenancy and they cannot get possession until after that ends at the earliest.
So sorry to hear the hassle you are having, these types of landlord give the decent ones a bad name.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
ok werdnal, will edit information now0

As an ex LA I can confirm that TT is entitled to "quiet enjoyment" of property. I would change lock barrell and forbid any viewings at any time. If LL wants to play dirty then follow advise of previous posters re S21 and deposits. Insist on 72 hours notice if LL wants access to property and arrange times to suit you. Get a friend to be with you when LL visits. Allow one visit every three months and no more. Anything in excess of this can be construed as harrassment.Which is worse - ignorance or indifference?
Personally I don't know and don't care :think:0 -
oh dear!!!
I have spoken to CAB and Shelter who have advised me of basically the same as you guys

I replied with please only deal with me via written correspondence, I got a reply saying "this is written"
