Help needed please. Due to DH work we need to urgently find somewhere to live close to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
Can anyone tell me about the areas of Harbourne, Edgbaston and Selly Oak. Selly Oak seems a lot cheaper. Is there any particular reason. No kids so schools not a problem.
Any help gratefully received.
Not quite my neck of the woods but Edgbaston and Harborne are more affluent areas which is reflected in the price.
How far is your H willing to commute?I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Eric and Ernie are so cute Islandmaid thanks for posting the photo.
I really felt for Andyhe was doing so well, and I admit I teared up when he was interviewed but at least he can say that he was the first Brit in 74 years to reach the final and that is a real achievement. :T
Hopefully he will come back fighting next year.
I then watched St Trinians while I was sorting the sock bag ........2 hours later and I do not want to see another sock for a while  But I enjoyed the film and it did force me to sit with my feet up for a while. DH washed up, DD did the ironing and DS kept out of the way :rotfl:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
