I used to use root beer or limeade in our lolly maker (Tupperware product) or just small paper cup and stick frozen. Can't get root beer lollies (popsicles in America) any more so I make my own. Plain orange juice ones are nice too. I have also used the powdered drinks made up (like Kool-Aid) and then frozen. When I was much younger (70 years ago) my mother used to freeze Kool-Aid in an ice cube tray and we would march around the married student housing with our friends sucking on an ice cube wrapped in a paper-towel. Make a great slushy thing too if you can grind up the ice cubes.0
