Some people are impossible. You haven't done anything wrong. No information about the seller has been told to us.
Perhaps if the seller does happen to take a look here he/she will realise that they are in fact in the wrong.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

We all know that ebay users can be frauded so why is this person crying when I clearly stated in my auction
N.B: items that are bought and are over the value of £150.00. These items will not be posted until money has cleared through whatever method of payment that has been used
I know of may people who sent stuff after paypal payment was recieved but not cleared, later to find out that the paypal account was frauded.
So please please if you are are an honest person please allow time so as we can make sure we are not being ripped off0 -
:hello: seller.
The point is that it makes no difference whether you withdraw funds to your bank account or not. Therefore, it makes no sense to make the buyer wait. You need to send the item within 7 days anyway to be protected yourself.
btw, I think you will find that it's you that isn't following the rules.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

We understand your predictment but if you assess each buyer on their own individuals merits, then you'll find in some cases holding out is not the answer. You as a buyer wouldnt wait if you knew, you had a confirmed address, great feedback and have been on ebay for a long time. You would be asking those questions why im i waiting. The buyer has clearly misread your t&c's and in the eventuality that things do go pear shape then you know where to come. And we will help you out in that instance.
Only you know the buyers id and feedback score. Use your judgement based on that alone, as to whether to send out early.0 -
In future you will need to state clearly in all auctions that making payment with paypal whether confirmed or unconfirmed address will incurr a despatch of 5-7 days clearance, if your not happy sending it out sooner. as for buyers bidding then its upto them.0

Payments can be reversed through pay pal within 3 daysrazorbladekisses wrote: »It sounds very much like the seller is waiting for the funds to transfer from PayPal>Bank account (it takes 3-7 working days to clear) Little does he/she realise this is pointless and doesn't prevent fraud.0 -
If you feel that you want to blackmail me with this then think again.Recieved a reply from the seller -
Hello again. Please be aware as this our policy. We don't ship items that are costly until payments are cleared, this is our policy and we have a right to stick by it and since we stated this clearly in the auction we are well within eBay rules.
We hope that this will not effect your feedback score decision.
Thinking of emailing back saying something along the lines of payent money has been taken out of my account, and paypal define it as "cleared". Also want to get in there something like "If I don't recieve it within 10 days, I will open a claim with paypal and leave neg feedback" - Is it 10 working days from the day I sent the payment? Thanks
My fXXXIN god what does it take for people to understand it is POSSIBLE TO FRAUD THROUGH PAYPAL---REVERSE PAYMENT--- HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF IT??????????????????????????????????????????0 -
I have a confirmed address and am verified, payment in my paypal account shows as completed so I've not paid via an e-cheque or anything....Have good feedback on ebay too

I've sent the seller an email with a link to this thread, and highlighting the fact that the payment via paypal is immediate and has cleared. TBH, it's not like I absolutely need the phone this week, I'm just a little annoyed as to why the seller is doing this - I've done what I need to do, paid promptly, he should now ship the phone out to me - It's making ME wary of HIM. I mean looking at his feedback he's only sold low value items before this...
I may have sold low value items till now nut are you sugesting that I intend to fraud you by stating that " It's making ME wary of HIM "
Please choose you words carefully0 -
Really don't know what else to say

I'm not out to scam you mate, just look at my feedback, plus I'm verified with paypal, and have a confirmed address. What you don't seem to understand is if I reverse the transaction, if the money is in your bank account paypal will just put your account in negative balance, stop you from using paypal and send a debt collection agency after you and get the money back that way.
If you think I'm trying to scam you, give me a full refund of £200, send me a unpaid item mutual agreement thing through ebay, you'll get a refund for your fee's and I'll just buy the phone elsewhere.
Otherwise, please just send the phone out or at least give me a proper date on when I can expect to receive it (3 days or seven or longer????)0
