Wedding 11/12th July. Bad date?

Perhaps people who want to discuss things other than the OPs wedding could start their own thread for doing so instead of jacking this one.
The OP asked about the merits of having their wedding on the 12th / 13th July. Leo and i (and others) have been giving our respective opinions on events on those dates. How is that not relevant?
Also, i am sure if you read pretty much any other forum on here, you'd find that they dont tend to stick to just the subject in the original post. Thats forums for you, eh?0 -

No offence was caused to me by anyone. I think the conversation we had here was grown up and intelligent without the usual insults that similar topics on this nature generally bring up.
I wish the original poster every happiness and if its any consolation if I had been invited by a friend to a wedding on this date, I would have been greatly torn and it would not have been an easy decision to make.0
