Just popping in briefly en route to bed .... Fuddle, sorry to hear your news, but it could be a blessing in disguise. I have no advice to offer other than to follow the advice of Kidcat, Greyqueen and others on here who seem to know what they are talking about. Try not to let the panic wash over you.

Stiltwalker glad you are having a fun time. Erm .... you might have to walk home if you still want your wedding dress to fit after all that food :D but then again, a bit of a blow out won't do any harm (at least, that's what I tell myself, ahem!).

Greyqueen, with winter coming on I am worried you may start missing your pet slugs when they hibernate. Would you like me to knit you a slug to keep you company on those dark winter evenings?

Ginnyknit, be ruthless with the loft clutter! Watch you don't get your back legs trapped in the loft hatch ..........

Right, I must get off to bed. Had a busy day - my parents and sister came (with chocolate cake :D:D:D) this morning, and birthday pressies but I can't open them til Thursday so they are going to be singing to me all week .... then this afternoon I went to a 'Crafternoon Tea' session and made a rather odd looking corsage. But I enjoyed it and it was nice to be with other crafty types. I learned how to make Suffolk Puffs :D. I'm tired now though as it takes it out of me to 'put myself out there' with strangers. My bed is calling me .... I love my bed .... night all, sweet dreams (PAH!) xxx.

Smileyt - I regularly tel myself that too! - Seam allowance on my dress was supposed to be 5/8th inch and I made it 1/2 inch so I would have room for my dinner!!!!!

Kidcat - am hoping to continue our good weekend with a trip to Scarborough's sealife centre tomorrow, they have a rockpool bit where you can handle crabs and starfish so may have to leave DS there! he's not too bothered about fluffy furry animals but he does love those of the more scaley or scary persuasion! When we had the zoolab visit at stay and play in the summer he loved the snake and the giant millipede!

Thank you so much. Our rent is due on the 5th of the month so even if we get the section 21 we don't need to be out before Christmas. I just hope his ignorance is his downfall in this and I can get us somewhere before we're pushed.

I do want to leave here. It will be a blessing, I know it will. I'm just a little bit scared. I'll come up with a plan tomorrow. x

Babes, keep just holding on. A bit of a shock that was. Give yourself some time to think. Sending all the good vibes I have.

Sounds like your best off out of there anyway.

Oh Kidcat, you know where I am if you want a shoulder to cry on or someone to yell at universe through, am quite happy to be both or either.

Sorry not sent my love to all others who need it but its there for you all.

I had a dream the other day that I received a pm on here from someone, honestly it was a dream no-one sent me this pm, and it said I was depressing the group so would I please butt out if I could only moan on here so I can see my sub-concious is pointing out to me I am just being a moaner so staying quiet until back to normal, not that I ever am that :)

    Hugs and love to allxxxxx

Moaning is very healthy, it empties the soul of all the rubbish so it can apply all the useful stuff. A soul laxative if you will.

    Keep calm and moan on.

¥close down my big front garden dh thinks he can cut the grass its too wet :eek:i picked all the rose hips yesterday and made rose hip syrup. Try and ward off the winter colds.

We did the back garden yesterday and our nextdoor garden close down pressure washed them and the alleyways we use this door as I have closed up the front of the house my ground door gives off some reel cold so have duck taped some fleece over the glass and put the winter curtain bk up hopefully that will keep us warm.

Bk door is half gas and it's freezing in our kitchen so ducktaped some fleece over that and put winter curtains for up. My dh is going to go to the horrible women who lives behind us and ask if she could cut her conifers as they block the light in our kitchen. She a real funny woman but she lives in la. House so we hope something can be done she was moaning yesterday become we pressure washed the always that she has no access to strange woman. • Oooh Smileyt, Suffolk Puffs, thank you so much, I'm making my DGC's dolls cots out of shoe boxes for Christmas & was racking my brains for something interesting to make as the top cot blanket, all I could think of was Cathedral Window, which is far too complicated for something that is going to end up covered in jam & other stuff.

    Morning All

Sorry about dreadful LL Fuddle, what a fool. You have done nothing wrong, follow advice here, pictures, dates, write it all down and use every tool against him. You will end up winning, and end up with a much better home!

Hope the meat mountain is under control Kidcat - I shape sausage meat into a loaf tin and bake it . This is OH request for Xmas dinner, he has it hot sliced with the turkey, cold sliced in sarnies, and it fries nicely for brekkie. I also mix it with unmadeup stuffing mix and an egg for a different flavour, this is my favourite!

PAH - ignore the dream, moan on (but in fact you don't!).

Smiley - Snap! Did we know this? Can't remember if we knew we had the same birthday?! Hope you have a lovely day!

Hugs for all, have a good Sunday!

ETA - I thought suffolk Puffs were a cake! Could not work out what HH was on about until I googled them :rotfl:
