  • ((((Pooky))))) my condolances, but you at least know, no more wondering in the wee small hours, but doesn't make it any easier, give the kittens an extra hugxxxxxx

Ginny that is so awful could you have a word with PALS as well, I have heard of this at other hospitals, so far hubby can drop me off and goes off to park elsewhere off the grounds to save charges but I would dread it if I needed him to help me as have done in past, but didn't have hospitals to go to then just didn't get out.

If times are suitable, that is if hubby not working I could get him to bring me to be with you for a bit if you could put up with my yapping, share with kidcat.

Do you know considering I slept 24hrs I am falling asleep now and so going to shut down this thing - it got left on yesterday and hopefully sleep through till about 6am as smear at 9.20am and appointment with dr at 9.50am but as she usually runs an hour late I doubt I will see her then, she is good never just gives you the 5mins allotted time. Not seen her for nearly 3 months as just not felt up to going but thankfully ok now as out of some meds she can only give personally not on repeat.

    Night night all

Hugs and Love to all xxxx

    Pooky - I'm so sorry :(Hug_emoticon_by_smiekie.gif

Thank you everyone for your advice this morning. The maintenance man has been, it's not the fuse in the plug on the sideboard, or the fuse on the main plug, but it works when plugged into an extension cord so it must be something to do with the plug that connects the two, or the wiring, both of which are behind our kitchen cupboards. For now it's plugged into an extension cord running across the kitchen floor, but I'm just so thankful it's working and it wasn't the fridge/freezer that broke. He's coming back on Thursday to fix it properly and also fix some broken bits in the fridge :T Letting it get nice and cold and then will go collect our food from OH's work, managed not to lose anything, the only meat we had in there was 4 sausages, so I'm cooking those up and OH can have them throughout the week. Also got our council tax paid this afternoon and OH had a phonecall from a recruitment place that he's going to phone back tomorrow; things are finally looking up.

be very careful where you put the dot in your hourly wage. I put it in the wrong place somehow and we were nearly 9,000 a month better off, I wish :)

It looks from that final total that we could be entitled to a small amount of housing help of some sort. Not sure what that is since we have a mortgage and we do not claim council tax. We have not even tried because of the mess they have made in the past. Also there looks to be other help which will probably be the replacement for child tax credit?
As dh will be 62 in 2014 he would be eligible for pension credits but I don't know if they are changing that too.

Pooky (((hugs ))) that is sad news.

Ginnyknit so sorry to hear about your experience. They need to know how difficult they have made things for disabled people and carers.
