Grandma it's at the butcher counter - boned pork shoulder.

Will have to squeeze in a trip to Mr M this weekend.

Will have a go with the malt loaf too - I like a bit of malt loaf I do:D

Had trip to doctor today - well I say Doctor but I actually got nurse again!! She said I am aneamic so no surprise there. She couldnt get that I wasnt at all bothered by this - but as I tried to explain I have been aneamic for years, and have taken the pills (been ill with them) and then the minute I stop its back to normal and no-one has ever been interested before, and no-one would care now if I wasnt trying to get an expensive set of tests on my back!!

Result - I have iron tablets (oh yay), more blood test booked (whoopy) and a smear booked (hot damn!!) the smear I wanted to book elsewhere as I am told the local clinic does it and allows gas and air and being a total wuss about it (seriously) it seemed to make sense but she refused and handed me yet another prescription for diazepan? six pills and I need to take three the day before and one on the day (no idea what I do with the rest).

I have no idea what the pills are or what they do either so am slightly concerned. On the plus side I now also have an appointment with doctor to talk about my back!! But she thinks he will give me yet more pills! AM going to have to get another prepay certificate, I have had two prescriptions already this month, not counting the two for today and whatever he gives me next week.

Am so pleased though as DS8 had another good day at school, and its such a relief.

It must be an age thing Possesion as I went through the same thing a few week back, tears too. I said the same thing, you don't ever have to leave if you don't want to. That was enough to calm her down. I think we're going to have our youngsters with us for a long time regardless of whether they want to or not. I really do believe we will get to the point where every person in the family has to try to bring home the bacon in order to survive as a family unit. All hands on deck and all that.

Forever forward The War Time Farm will be known as the '!!!!!!????!!!' prog!

I know I was given brandy on my dummy to shut me up when I was tiny - oh how times change! Can't say it did me any lasting damage, and my only vice drink-wise is vast quantities of Lidl diet coke (I'm cheap to keep!)

No TV signal here tonight - high pressure causing the signal to constantly drop out. They kept that quiet when puffing the benefits of digital TV :(.

Possession - just shows how much she enjoys being home with you. My lot cant wait to escape:rotfl:

In fact DS8 regularly leaves me notes advising me of his intention to leave and when he plans to leave, last one said

    Der Mum
I am sorree but I leevin and goin fores see monkees I will be gon till Chrismus. tell santi leev presants for mee, luvee you

So you see he has plans to leave but clear plans to always return, a few weeks ago he planned to move to France for three weeks and then decide whether to stay until he was 30. No idea why 30.

I've got her staying with me and DS (10) who's already planning to live in California!
Kidcat DH was prescribed diazepam for fear of flying so they are used as an anti-anxiety drug which is why you've got them.

. I also used to push a pram full of washing to the wash house and use the big calendar ironing machines.

ooh and my memory came flooding back then. Does anyone remember the bath houses where you could get a bath?

I used to wheel a pram to get the vegetables for my mum.

I was prescribed diazepam for fear of flying. I used to wash it down with a gin and tonic  :D

Nowadays I just have the gin and tonic. I have probably said this before, but a couple of years ago I was frantically searching heathrow at 8 in the morning for a bar and OH very helpfully said "it's all in your mind", to which I replied
"no, sh** Sherlock - of course it's all in my ** cking mind"

he bought the gin and tonic :rotfl:
I wanna be in the room where it happens
