Many will feel deflated and sad for a few days to come...but they'll have their memories...

Now Olympics are over the real news hits.......be interesting to see what our dear PM says about jobs, he is always going on how there are jobs for those that want to work..........do you think we will be told this is a mistake they haven't taken into account some figures or other and in reality firms are dying to take on more people.......

Also wondering if all is well at the palace with only Harry and Kate in attendance as queen was meant to be there.....Harry was it seems the one who could be spared to stand in while something seems to be happening .....I am not a great Royalist, but used to having one and certainly wouldn't wish harm on any so hoping morning doesn't bring bad news.

I did not know that PAH...

The same money sloches around the economy and is just moved around and if they keep taking off the public whatever their income is, if we have less to spend, products are not purchased and businesses will fail and more jobs may be lost or workers will still be working for low wages...reality returns...

Well as I was not able to sleep I caught up on the closing ceremony. Got to admit I found it great. I am not a great music lover, months can go by without me listening to music then I will suddenly have a day when I do nothing but listen to my cds of my favourites. This I sat enthralled through and totally enjoyed. The showman ship and direction were perfect..........did you notice the spice girls started singing before they opened their months poor old Geri was standing there enjoying the applause and all of a sudden her voice boomed out singing, but they soon were mining well.

Smileyt I agree Boris J dancing to Spice girls was not something you really wanted to see.

Right going to put my washing away and hopefully get some sleep

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
