never pops, I'm still learning myself :)

Really tired tonight. Off to go do a batch of 5min bread for the fridge then a a big long soak in something deeper than a puddle. One can treat oneself sometimes huh?!

I'm then closing the curtains, getting my knitting out, having a hot choc with the dog and kids blissfully snoozing. DH is away in Chester for a few days so although I'll be lonely, I am looking forward to some real my time.

I think I'm OK... The agency I use come up first if you google B&B cardigan (outside the pink box) and I'm on the first page for the area. Also if you google my nearest famous'Nat Trust' beach I come up fourth on the page with my own website, and I'm tagged on google maps. I did loads of research before I chose the agency I use. They also didn't have loads of spelling mistakes (a pet hate of mine!) I do have a twitter account, but never really got to grips with it TBH and I use facebook personally, and for the cake stall, but not sure who'd see it if I put it on? I'll look into that. I'm pretty sure it's going to be the way the wind is blowing in the holiday industry rather than a failing on my behalf. I was never going to rival Butlitz as I've only got one double room :rotfl:

LOL well that sounds really good SEO, don't think you could better that really. Twitter might be good for the cake stall but it will take a bit of work to build up followers.
Funnily enough bookings are up in Stratford upon Avon but I think that's a combination of the new theatre with the Shakespeare festival, and perhaps the weather not needing to be so good to 'do' Stratford.

You do that Fuddle and enjoy...smiley-chores035.gif

I'm thinking of popping out for some eggs, bread buns and some freezer bags...I think it's an excuse just to have a look out...

I was going to do so much today(and haven't)I was going to have some cereal and fruit, possibly a couple of light boiled eggs and a meal tonight and I have had...nothing! Not good...So I'll deal with that when I come home.

Heaven! I really don't like the big B&B, and I love Wales! I truly do. It reminds me of Brittany and makes me feel "at home". Husband and I always go camping to Pembrokeshire in the summer but have not booked anything yet as the weather is so awful.

I found out that she has been housed around the corner from me and near to where her parents live and she was happy even though she is not getting any or much help with the cost of staying there.

I assume they have housed her in a two bedroomed house because small properties are rare but she is already worried about the bedroom tax coming in next year, she has little in the way of furniture and is sleeping on an airbed and yes, having to make food go as far as she can because she is on a tight budget.

Sadly there are so many of us...some cannot get started in life and those who have are having to go backwards...:(

It is awful that people have to live like this. What really gets to me is that it is not even temporary, it seems there is no end in sight to this recession. :(

I used up the last batch and put more dough in. There was more of it so rose more. Still tasted delicious :)

I have made a batch just now using that dreaded wholemeal flour mixed with plain. I have not got much hope for it but as long as we get bread for scrambled egg on toast tomorrow all will not be lost. I get my white bread flour tomorrow night so I should be plain sailing with it in the next few days :)

In an attempt to be Old Style AND healthy, I decided to unearth my 30-day Shred DVD. I can't afford a gym, nor do I want to go to one, but I have lost a lot recently and I am all flabby. 20 minutes a day but boy does it hurt! My arms feel like they don't have muscles!!! Please remind me why I subject myself to this :rotfl:

Popper well personally I would fry off the veg to soften them a little, add in the sauce and simmer it on a low heat on the hob for a while. Then add in the chicken thighs for 10-15 minutes to warm them through and so they soak up some flavour from the sauce.
You can eat one portion for dinner, put one in the fridge for tomorrow or the day after and then freeze two more in pots and pop into a saucepan or into the microwave to heat them when you want.
    Hope that helps :)

It does...and thanks. I guess if I eat these thighs another day I better eat them cold but perhaps if I save some of the sauce that can be warmed up again and as they will be used within a day/two days and have been in the fridge in proper bags or containers it will be ok to heat up again?

Having seen Fuddle mention scrambled eggs I may have that when I come back and have some garlic bread with it, even if that means giving in and using the oven...I must learn how to use the combi microwave...I have misplaced my instructions for the halogen oven but I know they won't have been thrown out just a case of finding them...

I'm a bit miffed to say the least at my sister at the moment. It seems whenever I post anything on Facebook she has to make a negative comment. Monday's was that I was baking too much and that it was easier and cheaper to go to Tesco and buy the stuff. Today's was that I shouldn't be spending money on wool in case DH goes off sick with his knees. I feel like I'm being pecked away at bit by bit and know if I say anything about it, I will be the bad guy.

For ages no one posted comments on my blog so it has been a way to get my feelings out about Mum, when she was ill and what life is like without her(and I talk of other things too)

Then I had a few nice people give me support and say I am doing very well but I have a few that post anonymously who are quite negative and nasty and I can never tell if they are being Troll like or genuinely feel the way they do. I try not to respond to their jibes or some of my other posters jump on them.

Luckily, as they realise I am doing reasonably well they can't have a go...but as you say we cope in the way that suits us and you don't need it...
