I may be trying to avoid using the CH but I'm not sure if some things in the house feel damp. Even if its just to take the chill off...then again the rain outside has probably added to the moisture generally...

I used to call them "blonde" moments but since my Mother so kindly told me I was "getting on a bit now" and starts mention the phrase "well, at your age...." I thought senior moment were more apt.

Talking of Mothers I showed her the delights of AF today, I'd ordered her some bits with my last order and she's gone home delighted with a huge box of bits that cost me the grand sum of £4, I even got her some of the tesc0 baby products to try (the shampoo is 9p a bottle and is amazing, as is the baby lotion at 9p a pop). My hairdresser commented on how wonderfully soft my hair was and was shocked when I told her what I was using. Well worth the 9p to try it if you can get hold of it.

You've found that too...there are many things in their range that when you check the contents, they are as good as the more expensive items that you are paying more for.

I have some but sadly not too much hair to use it on, where did my lovely head of fair glowing locks go:(:eek:It's going grey and it's just around the sides, plenty at the back...if I win the lottery perhaps I'll have a Wayne Rooney:pAt least I rarely need a haircut(saving money)

PAH, on my dream list is a dehydrator...I add things to my basket on Ama$on, and look at it every now and then, and decide if I still want/need something, and if not, out it goes. Sometimes I have a fad for an item which passes, but I still would like a dehydrator. Doesn't asnwer your question of course, but I'm certain a few on here use them as we had a chat a few months ago about them.

Thanks for caring about me. :A

Popperwell, 4 egg cups?? :D And try an get one of those thermometers (sp) which say what the temp should be in a room, as you want to avoid hypothermia.

Pooky, don't tempt with AF ...Ok, I'm just going to look, just look...:o

Hi Nellie, very appropriate user name! :D

Kittie, nice to see you here again. I always appreciate your kindness when you suggested I went to the Dr about my back pain. :A Love all your helpful advice too.

I'm going to write a long shopping list right now for grains, pulses and bread flour.
We've got hellish rain nonstop today, it must've moved up here now.
Re rice bags, can I just say one thing? You cant heat them in a powercut - and its in a powercut that you might need them. So don't forget the humble hot water bottle :)

Good idea Byatt, I'll add it to my list...I know four egg cups, now I need three other people to join me...:p

I was going to get a fancy one(one would've done)but they were all cheap, 4 little pastic type in red, yellow, blue, green for £1 or 4 wire ones for £1. In the end I choose the wire ones...
