                    Hi
Just wondering if anybodys kid has had a millies cookie as birthday pressie.
Our child is going to a friends birthday party and wants to give them a giant cookie as a pressie.
Not too sure how it would go down as a gift
Anybody

            £14 for a biscuit? !!
Make your own and decorate it for a fraction of the price!
If that's what your child wants to give, then let them. Gifts are about the giving, not the receiving. I'm sure it will be appreciated."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
By the way, I have made a giant cookie for a prize before. We decorated it with sweets and chocolate buttons etc (some chocolate icing to make them stick) - it turned out really nicely."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

I wonder if you can use a Bite card to bring down the cost of the cookie cake - https://www.bitecard.co.uk/Locations/57
I've had them as my birthday cake before (as a grown up!) and loved it.0 -
My kids would absolutely love that! A whole massive cookie just for them

We've literally just got back from there and were looking at them as the girl was decorating them. They are very big so she might want to share it out but it's an original gift which can be personalised and they looked rather tasty. We decided to get one for OH for his birthday in a few weeks.0

I have to be honest and say when my son was growing up and we had the birthday parties he ended up with so many small gifts that basically never really got used...or at best got recycled round the party circuit, that if someone had thought to buy something edible it would have been eaten, enjoyed and we wouldnt have had the problem of storing it....job done!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

I'm going to go the opposite way and suggest you both could make a really nice fruit hamper for £14. You could make a great big flapjack to sit in there too.
