    Momentus day yesterday...no heating on in the flat!!
    Did an excersise class after work which meant I didnt get home until 8pm, jumped in the shower but still really warm from the class so didnt need to put the heating on at all...woohooo!!

    It is normally me that wants the heating on, bf would live in an igloo in shorts if he could!!

    Nothing much else to report....apart from I had bought my lunch today (2 peices of bread to toast and a tin of spaghetti hoops) but the office dog snuck into my office and pinched the bread out of my handbag....ripped through the tin foil and eat the bread :eek::eek: which means i either need to borrow some money from petty cash to get something from the sandwich man...or nip out and buy something which means spending money....not impressed!

    Hi, I've been caught like that before - one of the dogs at work jumped up and pinched one of my pieces of bread and I felt so bad for the other one that I ended up giving him the other piece so he wasn't left out!! :D AG.

    I'm a sucker for a dog - if it had been a person the results would have been quite different!! :p Least your boss offered to replace it for you. :)

    Morning all...PAY DAY is here WOoooooohoooooo :j:j:j:beer::beer::beer::T:T:T

    The morning shuffle has taken place...savings total to be updated shortly.

    The bf's first payment (contribution to bills and repaying loan) will be made tomorrow and then every Friday going forward. This means I can update my savings total each week (most of the bills I cover the whole amount so his contribution just go straight to my savings!) :T:T

    Just tried to open F!rst Direct regular saver (8%) but doesn't seem to be working online and there is a notice on the website that from the 1st of Feb they are not offering this account. So I need to make sure I call them today and open the account..will wait for a quiet period at work.

    Hope all are well in MFW land and I will be back later with updated totals!

    Just totted up savings (inc the £300 i have ready to go into Reg Saver acc) and new savings total is £60,236.85.

    Woohoo back into the 60's, the total had dipped due to loaning the bf £1k to clear his mortgage arrears.

    They are pulling it at the end of the day - you need to open by phone so make sure you do it. It will be back but maybe not at 8%.

    Happy payday :)
    A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Wooohooo its Friday!!:beer::beer:

    Thanks GG...I saw your post and then work went stupidly busy yesterday....got pulled into a meeting / brainstorming session that literally last all day. Anyway I rang and managed to open the account whilst 'brainstorming' late yesterday afternoon so it is open and showing in my FD home-screen this morning (however the boss thinks I am mad having such urgency to open an account!!)

    Not much else to report. All my money shuffles went through yesterday morning, the bf has set his weekly direct debits up, although wasn't enough notice to have set them up for this week so he is going to have to do a manual transaction across to me tonight and i will divvy up between the pots.
