    Hi All
Back from IKEA, and I am ashamed to say I am converted!:rotfl:

Got a table for my new kitchen, and lights for OH's kitchen that he has been trying to find for ages:T Also got DGD a step for the toilet, painting apron and clippets. Oh and smelly candles, NO TEALIGHTS tho!:rotfl:

Went for lunch, and yes I did have the meatballs, and very nice they were too!
So I am now £127 worse off, but who cares?!
    I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Have just downloaded 50 shades of Grey, for a bit of weekend excitement.Am finding it a bit tame up to now..............am I abnormal?:eek::rotfl::rotfl:
It's probably me that's abnormal - I have zero interest in reading it at all! I'd far sooner be on the PC or PlayStation bashing seven bells out of trolls, goblins and kobolds.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Have just decided to bypass '50 shades of grey'. I'll wait for HH's autobiography instead.

    Evening all
I'm writing it, but it's slow going, actually I'm only writing about 10 years of my life from when I was 50 to 60, the rest is boring. I am hoping to self publish on Kindle eventually.
50 shades, I thought it was like Mills & Boon with added BDSM, I will say though that the BDSM was very well researched & very accurate & I'm speaking from experience here!
Hubby started work at 10 this morning & is hoping to finish at 8ish, fingers crossed, we have Sunday together, though I'll have to share him with the GP & he's working next Sunday.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

I too am reading 50 Shades, and I don't think it's any racier than other stuff I've read, only halfway through though.

I've had a lovely afternoon, despite the rain! I went to the local farmer town, and wandered round the shops. Popped to Debenhams and saw one of the uni girls there, she works on the beauty counter, and she gave me a full size D&G shower gel, Marc Jacobs umbrella and a load of perfume samples for free :D. They were all gift with purchase items that were left over, and staff aren't allowed to take them home themselves (highly unfair!) so she had been giving them out to people :j.

Then I met my friend for a coffee and giant custard cream (see my facebook/twitter for pic!). And we went to The Range and I bought lots of nice new stuff for my house. I spent £25 but got 2 big canvases, one of the world and the other is an old railway ad for london, a big mutli picture frame (holds 12 pics), a clip frame, picture hanging kit, and a hammer :rotfl:

    Night all
