Don't forget the new 8 item rule. I wouldn't waste my time now as unless the rules are different in NI, we have separate tobacco kiosks so very unlikely to have much more than a pack of fags and a lighter on the receipt.

Thats what I meant by the stand alone as usually cigs are bought from the kiosk with maybe a newspaper not usually on a receipt worthy of the checker :)

After my earlier post about the Finest pork loin steaks comparing nicely with a's cheaper ones, I got some more. Next to them, the Finest pork chops (Charles Bowes extra thick cut) were on half price offer - 8.99-4.49kg. Half were correctly priced and half were at the higher price. Some :o decided to come home with me.;) DTD given with a smile. Usually at end of aisle on offer and usual place as well. The usual place ones were 75% at the higher rate with the half price ones at the back of the shelf. HTH

My mate in work is going on a hunt tonight for 50p timotei. I hope there's some there for her. If there's some there for her, there'll be some for me too :D

For those struggling with the Asda v's Morries
    I would buy
10 x assorted Muller Corners (ONLY corners compare for APG) fruit or crunchy ones includes special edition too

However many 1kg tubs ICBINB up to a max of 10

and a few cheap items eg onion, banana, cheap noodles, tin tomatoes etc. just to be sure

The ICBINB is £2 in A's and £1.26 in M's
and the Mullers are comparing 62p in A's v's 28p each in M's PLUS you get the multibuy discount from A's on top.

Keep this shop seperate to any glitching OJ's etc you might buy in A's

I was wondering if it would be a good thing to share this one on the Food Shopping and Groceries board? The beer and OJ ones are a bit riskier if they stop comparing and the products are harder to track down, but I these are readily available and hopefully pretty safe till Sunday (think Ms new offers kick in on a Monday?) and we are talking about something that could put a treat on the table for families (well, we feel we have been treated with all these Muller Rices and Corners). I think there is already an APG thread there and some who already use it. What do peeps think - would be nice to share the joy? If you think it is a good idea, perhaps worry-wart could post the offer over there?

I think glitches are difficult to transfer across because by their very nature you can get caught out if they stop suddenly, but if there is an excellent deal through the various comparisons (BM/APG/JTD) which would help feed families, can we post over there too?

McCain Wedges are another good one to buy in a Asda V Morribobs shop as they are more expensive in Asda (cant remember exact price) but only 90p in morribobs and some coupons floating around on the vouchers board.
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
