    am tired.

i was woken up at 3am by the smoke alarm beeping, the battery was running low. i couldnt get the screw driver in the release hole, so had to get the step ladder out. and ever time it beep i hissed at it to shut up. then i was hunting around for a replacement battery, found everything, AA,AAA but struggled to find one, so i took the one out of the weighing scales. :o

i took son for a hospital check up, they are doing some more tests on him, and he had some blood taken , then promtly fainted :eek:

to see my tall strapping 14 year son end up in a heap on the floor was a bit of a shock. he has given blood before but he was very young then. on the plus side he did get some biscuits and chips to eat, with some blackcurrent squash. when we got back home he went to bed for a rest.

on the beer news, i went through ss tils, the till had a hissy fit and the woman looked at the coupons and said " one per customer", and mumbled about bulk purchasing:mad:, so they got left behind.

is there any news on the baby ?
EEk, hope your DS's tests come back soon. If he needs blood taken again, tell him to insist on laying on the couch, instead of sitting in the chair. Always works for me and I need blood taken every month, despite being squemish

For those struggling with the Asda v's Morries
    I would buy
10 x assorted Muller Corners (ONLY corners compare for APG) fruit or crunchy ones includes special edition too

However many 1kg tubs ICBINB up to a max of 10

and a few cheap items eg onion, banana, cheap noodles, tin tomatoes etc. just to be sure

The ICBINB is £2 in A's and £1.26 in M's
and the Mullers are comparing 62p in A's v's 28p each in M's PLUS you get the multibuy discount from A's on top.

Keep this shop seperate to any glitching OJ's etc you might buy in A's

Any chance you could let us know what the beef deal is - just used our last beef from the freezer and need to replace it :) thanks

Ok I'm confused again :o I know you have to buy 8 different items at each but I thought only 1 had to be comparable

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think you only have to have one comparable item in T's but you must have bought a minimum of 8 items altogether

Just noticed others posted while I was composing this but this is what I've taken from it .....

A: 8 unique items*, no individual APG cap but max £100/month per postcode ;)
S: minimum £20 spend, BM capped at £10
T: 8 unique items*, JTD capped at £10, clubcard required

    * not clothes, batteries, flowers/plants, at least one item must compare (obviously)
Whoops - I've just editted my post to say 8 items but only 1 comparable. sorry for confusing anyone. :o

Now I've done my first Asda V's Morries shop, I'm going to go back to using a website I used to use before I discovered you lot. :D:D
    madaboutbargains.co.uk
You need the section off your trolley which lists the current supermarket offers
I'll just use it for the Morrisons offers as their website doesn't seem to list them all and they aren't on MSM.
I'm not going to vouch for it's 100% accuracy, but if I remember correctly it usually used to be the Asda bargains which were not always spot on and you can always check these out on A's website beforehand.
Great website Purdita.. I'm going to use it too :T

    Good day all 49.gif

Haven't been about much, as I've been trying to tidy/sort my late Parents' flat out as buyer found.

Had steroid injection in my knee at hospital last week. Felt great for 5 days, now back to square one :(

Wont get everything done before I'm off for a month to the Sun.

It's great reading about all your savvy hauls. I've missed the camaraderie of this thread.

Hugs to all that need them.

I can't believe I haven't been able to get a pack of beer from Sbobs...because I love beer
Your knee sounds painful.. hope the time in the sun eases it a little. where are you off to? Anywhere nice?
Shame about the lack of beer for you. I'll have a drink for you :p :rotfl:
