am tired.
i was woken up at 3am by the smoke alarm beeping, the battery was running low. i couldnt get the screw driver in the release hole, so had to get the step ladder out. and ever time it beep i hissed at it to shut up. then i was hunting around for a replacement battery, found everything, AA,AAA but struggled to find one, so i took the one out of the weighing scales.
i took son for a hospital check up, they are doing some more tests on him, and he had some blood taken , then promtly fainted :eek:
to see my tall strapping 14 year son end up in a heap on the floor was a bit of a shock. he has given blood before but he was very young then. on the plus side he did get some biscuits and chips to eat, with some blackcurrent squash. when we got back home he went to bed for a rest.
on the beer news, i went through ss tils, the till had a hissy fit and the woman looked at the coupons and said " one per customer", and mumbled about bulk purchasing:mad:, so they got left behind.
is there any news on the baby ?life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

Altojack your postman should be delivering tomorrow morning.:)
Thank you, maybe by tomorrow I can face going on another shopping trip :rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl:
PS is anyone collecting the magnets that are on the back of the voucher books??
Due to me collecting a few over the last few days, i have a few. It seems a shame to throw them out.
I'm sure i remember reading someone saying about re using them. There's no place like home

Just been back to sainsbobs with the 4 packs of beers I forgot to use the coupons on this morning.:o:o
What a difference in Customer Service. The lovely SA simply handed me £6 in cash in exchange for the coupons, no questions asked :T Didn't even want to see the receipt
What a difference to the gestapo like quizzing I'd have been subjected to at T's.
If Heineken made Customer Service desks they would all be like Sainsbobs :rotfl:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Afternoon everyone
Right so to do a comparison shop in tesco now what are the rules?? Do I need 8 items? preferably own brand products and cheap as possible?? my pregnant brain is struggling to keep up with all these rules and different supermarkets!!
Yes 8 (9 to be safe) different items ONE must be comparable usually thats the one you will be getting the deal for
eg lenor if T to A
oj if A to T
other items can be anything thats cheaper or same price use mysupermarket for these items0 -

omg, what a day you have had. Things can only get better though.
Hope your DS is feeling better soon :A it's very worrying when something like that happens to a strapping lad, as this happened to my DS2 many years ago now and I was so worried that something had happened etc etc (((hugs))) to you and your son xThere's no place like home

I managed to finally get to Mr S to pick up the Bins I ordered for Mum and DD. ( Simply Human ones for £12.00 each instead of £39.00 on Amazon)
Saw the Ice Cream mags and picked up a few. So got 5 lager and 2 shandy £11.48 to pay and Price Match £10.00 back. Was going to do another run but there was none left on shelf. Have to go to another town to pick up bin for DS tommorow so will try S there again and maybe Mr A for some Dom Joly.
I seem to be so behind with all these glitches. I was thinking of how difficult it is to explain to some people how they all work so I have given up trying. My kids call me Del Boy but I dont care as I am able to buy nice food and things for the house and still have enough to pay the bills. Long may it continue. BTW re the pantene in Mr S =are the cheap prices written on the SEL?
Now must put some shandy in the fridge for later and put lager away for Xmas.
Hugs to whoever needs one and happy birthday to anyone who has one.0 -

Yes it took the 2 lots of discount off like before .:)
