I've not had it confirmed but I really do thing that Mr T simply bins these vouchers in the cash office, not keeps a running tally in order to trace someone.
I have watched several put them straight in the bin rather than into the till, others do go into the till.
At the moment because the vouchers are not unique that is why it is working.0 -
I'm baaaaaack
And there must have been a glitch or something?!
I looked on Sunday at the page number and it hadn't gone up that much, couldn't read posts due to bad connection. Will try and catch up but got loads to do today.
Hope everyone is well and hopefully not flooded out!
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
so you mean input it 10 times? Otherwise how would you know which was the correct digit?
Yes that sounds like a bit of a faff.
You would need to create an email for each receipt as entering one receipt 9 times would use up a months allownace of JTD attempts“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I understand that 3dogs (Susan's) post about donations in memory of Alan has been removed this morning.
The 2 charities that she gave for anyone who wished to make a donation were Cancer research (donations can be in Alan's memory through the funeral directors, but I am afraid I don't know who these were) The other charity was Ravenswood Pet rescue where donations can be made via paypal stating that they are in Alan's memory.
I have not added any links to this post so I hope it won't be removed aswell, but for those of you on FB, I have posted a link to the animal charity on my FB page.
This is by no means meant to be a request for anyone to donate, it is purely information for anyone who is interested.A clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here
Any offence is not intentional, I'm really quite harmless0 -

Although restrictive in some areas, it does widen the scope hugely when using the points coupons/CS vouchers/mocs from the mailings and also manufacturers mocs - have sometimes struggled to get vfm from these and the comparisons with S and M will help there. I have a lot of these to use up - they are often redundant as I don't use my cc too often - need to get creative
Scary territory though in terms of data retention and profiling - this is what T does best and CC data is one of their greatest assets, marketing and otherwise. Think this is part of their drive to take it to the next level .....
This is one of the reasons I try and mess with the data T has on me. If I go anywhere out of my normal circle and spot a T I use one of my cccards and buy £1 of things . So all Mr T sees about me on my file is random £1 shops, no pattern, all sorts of towns and places so his data on me is meaningless :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Was going to take Pops walkies but its piddling it down and she wont go
So she will have to cross her legs til i get home from work :rotfl:
I have no choice got to go out in it in at 10 long walk to work0 -
just had a rant on their fb page :rotfl:0

Morning everyone :hello:
I think the adding of a clubcard number to the price checks, is more to stop people trying to re-use the vouchers. Because if they do then the person can supposedly be traced back through their clubcard.
I think perhaps the fraud prevention aspects are a nice by product. I am pretty sure the driver for adding the CC number will be marketing with a view to increasing turnover. This is one of the reasons I try and mess with the data T has on me. Not meaninglessAll data is mined and T tunnel a lot deeper and further than any other organisation.

I was wondering if that was the case as it was advertised on the radio yesterday, didn't have it very loud so missed bits of what it was saying.0
