Uolypool - hope the twins have a fab birthday

Well no more work until Tuesday for me :j. Good day in work today. Went to visit all the work kids on placement, one was on placement in local pub so we were forced to have lunch there ;).

OS wise - It was sunny when I got home so put load of towels in WM and they are out on airer for a few hours. Not sure what to have for dinner yet.

    Have a good evening all

Maybe time to inspire her ;) or buy her 50 shades of grey :rotfl:

As for teenage boys......politely suggest they call back when they've actually got through puberty and their balls have dropped ;):rotfl:

I actually often call them out on their offer and ask 'when and where?', and take great delight in them squirming their way out of the conversation!! Same when they ask me for a fight, I say 'Come on then, outside' and watch them cower like a girl :rotfl:

DGS Henry had his induction day for his new senior school today, and said he liked it .His brother Jack who is a year older, is at the same school so he's told him all about it .i think Henry just can't wait to go as he's footie mad and its a very 'sporty' school. I watched Serena Williams this afternoon and I hope she does ok in the finals. She has got a heck of a serve.
Mr Murray 's big day tomorrow I would like him to win although his opponent Mr Tsonga has such a lovely smile I want him to do well as well.I love watching the tennis as I used to play myself years ago(no where near as good as any of them though)Old age and clapped out joint have put paid to sports but I am a jolly good armchair supporter:).
Tomorrow is my DGD Holly's 19th birthday so I shall pop up to see her with a present after History club. She is just finishing her first year at Uni and so far is doing very well.
DGS Danny is still nursing his broken heart, but he is a resiliant lad and has thrown himself into work.
The rest of the tribe all seem to be doing ok at the moment Mikey, the littlest chap is still grinning from ear to ear about going on holiday, and is packing his little 'treasure chest' that he always takes with him when we go away with all his precious bits in.He has a small box that he has to put his things that he cannot possibly leave behind .Oh, also his hamster 'Skittles' is coming with us in his cage on holiday as well :):)as well as the two dogs .We go away like a zoo with the kids and animals, and its a good job we have two 7 seaters to pack everything in. Mikey was so proud yesterday as he was allowed to bring his oboe home from school, he has just started to learn it in year three(makes a bit of a racket :))but his enthusiasm makes up for his scarcity of skill at the moment :):)
Right I'm off to bed for a read
Good night God bless all here

JackieO, I do love hearing about your grandchildren's lives :)

Hester - I often wonder if your workplace could keep up with demand for Incident books if you wrote eveything down that happened to you every day!! Think your union person needs a copy of 50 Shades though!

Meanmarie - DH used to use Blistex / Blisteze for his coldsores, but he recently visited a company that make UV light treatment units, and was so impressed that he bought one from Boots - he now zaps any impending coldsore with his "light sabre" and has found it to be vey effective ;)...and I agree that it DOES work!
