...and yet just previous to purchasing you penned many many posts saying how it was the worst time ever for an FTB to buy and how it was all so unfair.
You're either engaging in some major post-purchase justification or were plain wrong.
I do still think property is over priced in an unfair way, on the flip side I could pay it and get on with life or pay it for somebody else.
I have made the best of a bad situation and feel happy enough with that.

As you say yourself you bought at the cheapest possible time in more recent times and it only took a few months to get the required deposit together.
I'm not going to labour the point but if you think that's a bad situation you must be a glass half empty kind of guy.0 -

It is highly impressive, shows a good wage, no iphone, no holidays and no beer money can get you a long way.
I wasn't easy but we got there.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Very impressive. Can we conclude it's not that hard for current FTB's to get on the ladder then? I seem to read plenty of posts from you saying it's so much harder nowadays, but you are living proof of the opposite.0 -
this will totally disgust you... me and other half have 2 mobiles phones each-this includes 2 iphones

Did I expect to have my home given to me? No. My parents never raised me to be like you describe. Guess what! We are saving for our wedding now. Should I not bother and expect this to be given to me?
Prehaps you are just jealous that you cannot afford to have an iphone, ipad, new car etc. Or maybe you just don't have any friends to go out with and feel left out? Or maybe you are just to old to understand or be capable to use this latest technology so you take it out on the young?Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -
Well down lippy1923 - you are proof of hard work and not moaning and just getting on with it - the yoof should take note (not the successes like above but the moaners)0
