Now I know with my track record of technology I shouldn't be allowed a laptop but I want one! :rotfl:
I know naff all about whats available but I do need something that can handle large Adobe CS graphics/files etc. Wireless internet also would be great (I assume they do that
) and erm I'm not sure what else.
Can anyone advise me on models or how much I'm looking at blowing?
Cheers ears.

All the Apple laptops have 802.11 wireless cards (some of which are the new "n" standard) and Bluetooth. If you're eligible, there's also educational discount on them all, and the Apple store website also has refurb models at big discounts on a Wednesday. Don't forget Quidco too.0

Dixons at Stansted Airport had the macbook for cheaper than the Apple store when I travelled last week -I don't recall the exact discount but cheaper than £749. However they sell you a 1 yr C&R warranty and claim it's not EU wide, unless you buy their store warranty. Need to check with Apple if their 1 yr warranty isn't intl as think it used to be on laptops but not desktops (may have changed). Try it out at an Apple store as the keyboard is very different and you may find it annoying.0
