Mine's gone up by £5 per month. When I list all my outgoings it stands out (apart from my rent) as the highest by a long way, but it is the only one I can do nothing about.
My banding is correct and I get a single adult discount.

I've not got my letter yet either. That will be something to look forward to this week then.... :o

We're in Band A, and I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be if it was re-assessed, so I'll just pay it without moaning too much lol!

Although the fortnightly bin collection 'scandal' is making me laugh a bit - that's a regular occurrence around here anyway. In fact, last summer we had to wait 3 weeks on two seperate occasions. The bins stank and were surrounded by flies.....shudder......

Ours has gone up by 4.9% but because we were playing "catch up" last year for a month when we changed our bank account and missed the payment date, our actual monthly payment will be going down £35 from £202 to £167 which is just as well because my gas and electricity has gone up by £80 a month!!!!!

We live in an ex-council 2 bed flat in Welwyn garden city, Hertfordshire..... and for that we don't even get the communal areas cleaned.. I have to do it myself......(and that includes cleaing up after someone did a 'number 2' in the stairwell)...

    £1333 up £6.50 a month.

Luckily a neighbour complained last year and we benifited and were dropped a band, dread to think what it would be otherwise .

How do these bands work? I always thought it was house value, but I know for a fact that a band F in Westminster pays less than me (band B in Bristol)

Ours has gone up 4.7% to £1107.39...time to take out that 2nd mortgage.
