04.01, 10.01 and normally around 13.30. The return stock from shops, the end of commitment stock and the customer returns will be contained in the updates so at least one a day should be good. The lunchtime update today took the womenswear page total to 440.

Grrrr, I have never been so angry at a company, not even M&S and that's saying something! I got a order full of baby clothes for my new nephew and baby god daughter, checked out, all good. Selected an address where I knew someone would be in to get it when they delivered. Got a dispatch email and a delivery date for Tuesday this week. Come Tuesday night I hadn't heard anything, so checked online, and it said delivery failed and re-delivering next day. Said the same on Wednesday. Was a little worried as I knew someone was in all day, so thought they might have gone to the wrong place (had a few probs with couriers lately). Called last night to find out it had been returned the depot, and that they'd been delivering to the billing address, not the selected address. Got told I'd have a call today. Just phoned to find out that the depot has sent it back and there's no chance of recovering it.
I am so angry! The courier's said they left 3 cards - not one has appeared through my door, and they didn't try the neighbours either (in contrast to their normal behvaoir of chucking my parcels under the bush). They're going to send me a £20 voucher, feel like telling them where to stick it! More annoyingly, both my mum and sister didn't check out their orders, with the same baby things in, and I just did one order for all of us :(.
  • How strict are next on the 8day returns policy? I've still got dribs &drabs of my order arriving (yesterday i got something that was due to be delivered on the 15th) I'm not close to a Next & would like to return all bits at the same time (currently 4 items out of 80 ordered) but for some 8 days is Sun.
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!

I have returned items 2 weeks after purchase and they have taken them. As long as you have the receipt it should be ok :)

You could complain but Hermes wouldn't compensate as a smelly bin is considered a safe place, our bin cupboard was used for this purpose alot at our old house.

Worth a complaint, even if you don't get anything, Next need to be aware of all the problems! Must say that Next charged me half the sale price for an item that was deposited in my front garden, with no card left - the item wasn't found for 6 weeks in mid winter, so was soaked through. Washed ok though. Was about 8 years ago though!

my courier does the same they put it in the bin box at side of house, better than when they used to throw things over my gate, and you cant see through or over the gate so there could of been anything the other side. they did it on more than one occasion so i complained to next, they werent really that bothered though but they should be made aware.
