Guys, I'm gonna need your help in a mo.

I just went on a good old forage:j

I got me a little bag of these wild cherries:

A carrier bagful of these elderflowers:
photo-149.jpg?t=1341503764(sorry about the size, photobucket is playing silly beggars again!)

And I'm quite excited about this even though I bet you all recognise it anyway....
    I finally discovered HAWTHORN!!! :j:j:j
    photo-148.jpg?t=1341502749
I've suspected it was hawthorn but never bothered checking as I didn't know that the leaves and berries were edible until I got the food for free book:T:T

I found several species that I bet you lot may recognise so I'm gonna pop the pictures on one at a time. I don't know where to begin checking so any guesses from MSErs will be a starting point!

    Is this burdock?
    photo-146.jpg?t=1341502700photo-147.jpg?t=1341502714
It was about 3 foot high and the lower leaves were colossal.

I'm not too bothered about foraging the root but would just like to know if I've got the right one.

    Cheers.

Ps, there are 3 more to ask you about!

These were all growing in one area. I don't know where to begin looking for IDs so thought I'd start with you guys before I trawl the net.

    Cheers folks.

I'm sorry I don't know the answers JJ, but I have a hawthorn tree in my garden. have been cutting down bits of it for years, am I supposed to have eaten it instead?!
I just came across this and wondered if it might be any use for wild garlic ideas if there's anyone who hasn't already seen it:
