Three contract, impossible to cancel?

I think the main point here is that 3 are about the most difficult company to cancel with.

You can't blame a company for trying to keep you, but the problem exists when the CS guys clearly don't listen to what you are saying and plough on regardless.

My advice is to keep calm and interrupt them asking for their name and then telling them that you want to be connected to a supervisor to make a complaint about them hassling you.

There is a slight danger they may put down the phone on you, but one thing that CS staff who are offshore so not want is a complaint made about them. They are then more likely to get to the point and give you your PAC code or cancellation.

I always ask for a PAC code and make sure it is used. This protects me against the problems that some MSE members have faced whereby they find a long time afterwards that the contract has not been ended as thought and debt collectors are chasing them as well as their credit record trashed.

Thing is they should not be pressuring/hassling people who want to cancel etc...How many others need to put up with this before something is done?;)

Just ask to make a formal complain if they will not give it to you and remind them of their obligations as dictated by OFCOM:

"PACs have to be issued immediately over the phone or within a maximum of two hours by text message"

So if they refuse to give it to you (or within 2 hours by text but I'd stick with the verbal one to ensure you get it) when you ask for it they are in breach of this.

When you try to complain as i did on two occassions originally you are told you can only talk to the call centres, who in turn try and fobb you off that no complaint dept exists !!!!! You have to go on and on and persist for nearly three hours like I did and eventually was told a complaint was logged, although nowt came of it and i had to try twitter and three helpers to refer me to someone senior in the country to speak to. Wonder how many others give up when the indian call centres fob you off with no complaint dept exists ?

Perhaps ceo office do not know this goes on?
