Was £6 a bargain price to pay for the phone compared to it's going-rate?

If so most likely the seller hasn't bothered sending it and would rather wait on getting a better price. When tomorrow comes, open up a INR claim, you will win, and the seller will have to claim back from the royal mail if they did send it.

They're empty pathetic threats. It's probably a 15 year old spotty oink!

Just carry on with the case, get your refund, leave A neg, block him "and his mate", and forget about it.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Don't try & open another case, continue with the one you have open, escalate as soon as you can.
  • Ebay had said I could not escalate it untill 04/07 even though I opened the case last week.

Logged on just and the link to escalate was there and within 5 minutes they had refunded my money...wooohoooo

Thank you all for your kind words, I have left him neg feedback so hopefully people will look first before buying off him.

I hope you reported it to the police though. Most old hands on this board would laugh off this kind of threat but for some people it can be extremely alarming. A little word from the boys in blue would stamp on it.

He won't come to your door, how does he know you (or your husband/booyfriend) aren't a massive bodybuilder. He won't take the risk.
