Why don't people own up...

That's why I always choose really random parking spaces (drives my mates mad but hey who cares.) Miles away from the door and usually with only one space at the side. People are generally lazy, careless and dishonest so you have to try and prevent stuff happening in the first place.
Sometimes if I can't find a space I'm happy with I'll go to another car park.Don't grow up. Its a trap!

The thing is when I got there the carpark was empty bar my friends car and it can hold A LOT of cars... I come out and this person is parked right next to me, makes no sense!?0 -

I left a note on a tatty VW beetle I thought I had damaged (the bumper was sticking out at an extreme angle). Turned out it was already damaged & quite possibly their fault my car got scratched.Truth always poses doubts & questions. That I thought it was my fault when it wasn't & owned up. My car was pretty tatty too though :rotfl:Truth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0 -

Instead i'm lumbered with paying for someone elses carelessness.
Ringing around getting some quotes now, hopefully it isn't going to cost me a bomb! I've got the money to sort it but that's not the point0 -

So who's fault was it? You hit a stationary vehicle.0 -

No ones. If his bumper had not been stuck out at a 90 degree angle I would not have hit it. If you can imagine the height of this bumper would have been in the blind spot where you would judge the distance to the other car by the bonnet as the sticking out bumper was hidden by my passenger door.Truth always poses doubts & questions.
