Most other specs. No memory card slot though, but then neither does an iPad.

You are still covered with a Visa Debit card, as long as it is not a Visa Delta card. Your bank will probably try to fob you off, but Visa do offer the indemnity to your bank and it is upto them to deal with Visa on your behalf. Give your bank a hard time and insist that they refund you.
