What a day, I have been charging around the house, garden and garage like a mad thing, tidying, cleaning and sorting. Have taken a trailer full of junk to the tip and about 40,000 carrier bags to tesco bag recycling point. One of those days where you start one little job but don't know when to stop.

Two uu today, a mini No7 age defense cleaner, it does an ok job and I have two full size in the stash along with lots of other brands so no need to rush out for cleanser just yet.

The second one will be used up this evening but I will report it now, it is a small bottle of M&S Maison de senteurs (I think) lavender bubble bath, this was quite nice but not amazing.

    afternoon everyone

    hope you are all well,

Trudij - I'm sorry to hear about Grape, hope she recovers very soon

Valm - the ciate set I got has white nail polish and the beads are clear but sparkly if that makes sense! I've had a little play and it's really very easy to do, that said I don't think I would like all my nails done with this but will probably use it for ring finger manicures.

Tokkiandoliver - I had a look online after reading your post about ciate emailing the beauty bloggers - doesn't seem like the smartest pr move by that company! I love reading the beauty blogs. Good to know that this can be done with craft beads though, I want to try this look with different coloured beads (black, navy, silver) and this will save me some money

uu - S&G breakfast scrub, this is an excellent scrub with a delicious smell and I probably wba if it wasn't for the mountain of scrubs I still have in the stash.

    happy pampering, xo

Thank you, SuiDreams and tokkiandoliver :A

It's lovely to be back and thinking about the challenge is a welcome distraction. I might still be a bit quiet this week, but I will be reading along :)

If anyone wants tips on how to do make up when you're tired and/or upset, here is a link to a video by the amazing Lisa Eldridge:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKY4O0RIn0M&feature=related

All of her tutorials are great :D Although she has a list of the products that she uses in each video she usually encourages you to use what you already have :)

    HAPPY SUNDAY, EVERYONE!

Lush Madame Butterfly Bubble Bar - WNBA, i really liked this but the faff of drying it off to be reused just annoyed me in the end.....even though it turned the water a lovely pink and smelt fantastic :)

Fiasco - I got mine from a health food shop near me, DH lovingly calls it the hippy shop and refuses to go anywhere near it :rotfl: i found it on the net here (but if you click to it through beauty bible you get a 5% discount). it was cheaper than this in the health food shop though. I cant remember if i've seen it Holland and barrett or not or if it was just the independent ones, if you are near/in Manchester Unicorn and 8th Day both sell it. if you give it a bit of a rub on wet skin you get a brilliant thick lather from it, better than all the other SLS free ones i've tried.

    Congratulations Maddiemay!!! :j:j:beer::beer:

the daily questions are a good idea!

I have tried the Ren Photoactive Sun Veil SPF15 a couple of times now and despite only being spf 15 seems very effective. Has anyone else tried it?

I'm saving this for my holiday, I'm hoping its good!

Anyway, my good news is I think I may have graduated in everything bar fake tan (and make up, obviously, but there's so much of it I think I'll just need to keep plugging away at it and restrict myself from buying any eyeshadow, eyeliner or blusher for the rest of my life). I will be frantically using up my many fake tan products now. I hear great reports of St Moriz but restraining myself until current stash exhausted.

    WOW well done!

    Hi everyone,
Hope all is well, hugs to all, especially Grape.
1 tiny UU: lush rehab shampoo sample. WIB? No, maybe not, i think its left my hair dry.
    INs: :(
Boots botanics facial wipes (100 points coupon, 1/3 off)
Sure deo (large size, 1/2 price in boots and 10% off coupon, also needed)
    Aapri apricot facial wipes (£land)
Chit chat pink sparkle nail varnish! It's gorgeous, looks lovely over pastel pink.

I really need to make more of an effort to UU things now! Especially with REN order on its way.

Qus: I'm an ecologist, I love my job, a lot of travelling at the mo wih it being survey season. I'm heading to outside Birmingham this week. 5hrs 50 its going to take me! I could be across the pond by then! Holiday home: i'd move to the US in a shot, if only it was that easy to get a visa.

good to see the sun at last, think it helps lift the spirits:)
well another weekend over,he has remembered the anniversary and said he will take me out!(tho of course I have to book.....decided on most expensive but lovely place I know after he suggested cheap local:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

he dragged me out to a steam rally on sunday, then admitted it was awful:rotfl:this morning he said are you made up now....er no....."oh I thought you were as I bought you a 99!!!!!!what planet do men come from?after telling me I was a control freak...." you chose the duvet set"yes as it was the only one I could find to go with the curtains HE chose even tho it was not great and I said so at the time.no mention of the things he has to control like no we are not going to the USA to see our son this year (after postponing twice already:()and no we are not having a carpet in our room plus other things I can't mention on here!

back to toiletries have now got hot pink nails, wore my ruby ring last night and was shocked at how strange it looked next to nails, don't think they will last long as off into the garden today to hack back the jungle.am having to wear varnish all the time to help stop two nails which keep flaking,so life jacket ,base two coats of colour and a top coat, trouble is takes so long to dry and got a bit smudged ...still if I take off my glasses i can't really see:rotfl:

need to defuzz legs now summer is here:rotfl:?£15 to wax or £0 to shave?????plus want a pedi but now don't want to stay out of the sun...was too wet before to walk in flip flops after one:rotfl:

    Morning all.

I tried out the Ren invisible pores detox mask last night and my skin feels incredibly soft this morning, have enough left from the 5ml to use on t zone later in the week. May purchase a full size when I need a new purifying type mask.

Did my nails last night, no7 salsa on fingers and rimmel urban purple on toes. Had to give them a good file down as they are so long and very strong at the moment and I kept bashing them into things.

Had a look at the LIB box but am not interested at all especially not at the price. Would be an ok price if I actually needed anything and also I don't like batiste it makes my hair grey I much prefer Superdrug dry shampoo.

A little uu too, last night I finished one of the tesco home trial body butters, wnba even if I knew what it was, it was nicely moisturising but I didn't like the fragrance it smelt exactly like the Dirty works range. Have half a pot of the second one to finish next.
