I have a couple of questions - one a newbie question - what does TSV stand for?
TSV stands for Todays Special Value. Everyday QVC offer a product as a specail price which only last midnight to midnight (or until stocks run out)
A lot of the beauty brands put special sets together for TSVs and often the saving can be 50% or more hence the excitment.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
Morning All.
Belated Happy Birthday to Moromir, hope you had a good day.
Well cold turkey is over. I bought the Red mag, actually enjoy reading the mag so it was half and half for the mag and the freebies. Inside the mag they had a 20% off code for REN and this is where things went wrong, I decided, due to my broken out skin at the moment, that I would order the clearcalm clarifying clay cleanser to try and calm things down and also a travel kit of products for sensitive skin, I don't want them for travel just to try out really, free delivery too so not too bad. If this is all for the month I am happy and it is much better than normal.
Two uu to report aswell
Ren Vetiver Hand & Body cream (freebie as above) WNBA? Lovely to use and smelt nice but fragrance didn't last and lots of other cheaper products do the same job.
Original Source Lemon shower gel - this was DH's but I used the last use because my Sanctuary shower gel wouldn't come out so have turned that upside down for next time. WBA, DH liked it and it's good value, especially at £1 which is what I paid for this bottle.
Am having a mega cleaning day today as not working so am off now to steam clean the bathroom from top to bottom.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Happy Monday everyone!
Trudji - Big hugs to you, poor Grape, I hope he will be ok
Rosemary - enjoy your facial! I'm off to get a massage (it's more for health reasons than for pampering reasons, but it is deffo pampering)
One UU out this morning:
Simple hair conditioner - this is the 2nd time I purchased this from £land, and each time I wonder why I buy it, oh yeah it's only a £1 lol. I am on a tight budget with haircare and makeup this month as I have splurged way too much on accessories. I finally bought my dream bag, and it is now sitting in customs. I hope everyone will say a prayer to the customs/post office gods for me that it arrives to my door without a customs bill ::::deepinprayer::::
Have a fabulous day everyone. I shall check back later and hope everyone has a better week than last week. It sounds like a bunch of you need a hug xxxxxNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

I've also spent time this morning on my feet, using my emjoy micro pedi (which is fab) and slathering on foot cream to turn my hooves back into pretty feet.
I also managed a couple of UU
- Olay facial wipes. WIBA? Maybe, I tend to only buy for holiday use and I often use the £5 No 7 vouchers Boots give away to get theirs cheap.
- Dove grapefruit and lemongrass deodorant. WIBA? Yes, this is a repeat purchase, grapefruit is one of my favourite smells, complements some of my favourite perfumes.
PS thanks to all the lovely people who welcomed me to the thread, think this is going to make it so much easier to stick to my resolutions this time.:bdaycake: Happy Birthday moromir - hope you are having a fab day.
Couple of more outs- Nails Inc Henley - part of a set and me and the colour never got on - WNBA
- No7 Coconut Ice - Think this is now too old and the colour is going on with a yellow tinge. I am not rocking the nicotine stained nail look!
Sounds like your polish just separated. All you need is to shake it up a bit or put some thinner into itNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

Happy Birthday Miromir :bdaycake:
Now to you lovely ladies for some advice. I have been using Clean and Clear deep cleansing lotion, which I suppose is a bit like a toner, for years as I discovered it was my HG product as a teenage. I think it may now be a bit harsh for my (definitely not a teenager anymore) skin and wonder if anyone has any advice. I use it in the morning instead of cleanser and water and want to keep it that way. I also don't have a big budget for snazzy products! Thanks ladies.0 -

facial was good and she gave me a back massage too:)only prob the stuff on my eyes is making them a bit oily and smarting ,not nasty but want to close them esp as they left me with panda eyes even tho thought she had taken my make up off:eek:I just put on some mascara and lippy after she had finished. It cost me £30 for an hour and that was refundable on two items so got a toner which was double normal size and a gift box that was £19 in the sale(supposedly saving £49:eek:)I used a £10 gift voucher so only had to pay £1.20 in cash today:)and got a jewelry roll with day and night cream and small phial of serum too.forgot to go into boots for some blusher so no more toiletry buys, sold some stuff on ebay and people still watching so may get more, noticed someone trying to sell the Ren freebie for £5:eek:
alos got a bag for £26 down from £89:) and a dress but not sure about it as one size too big and the one I got a little snug tho SA said it was not pulling at all and looked better than the big one0 -

Oooooooooooo which bag did you order?? Fingers crossed for a safe passage through customs! I know the irritation of customs charges!!0 -
Thanks ladies, Grape will be fine Im sure, although it goes down to the bone it missed her tendons and her joints, which are the two areas that become life threatening - ive got a couple of pictures if you want to see - the first is yesterday when i found it, the second is today when we did the first bandage change. She will be left with a scar, but it will match the one lower down on her other back leg, so i dont mind
shes got a big stripe across her bum as well, so i think she must have turned to quick and caught her hindquarters on the fence (despite a run of electric tape up the inside supposedly to stop them getting in the wire) kicked out cos that hurt, and getting her leg caught in the wire. daft mare!! Mind you - she loves being in and pampered, I bought her 4 treat lick things yesterday - 3 of them have gone already....
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0
