Now this is probably not a question for this thread but I am sure there will be some one who knows the answer and people on here seem much friendlier than on others.................... I have 4K to move from a CC that is coming to the end of its 0% offer - I could move it to a low fixed rate for life of balance with a low transfer fee or move to a 0% for 6 months with a higher fee with the prospect of moving again in 6 months as will in all reality only have cleared no more than £1000.........anybody out there know how to do the maths or point me to somewhere I can work it out as to which is the better option? Please
Hi Igamogam
Not too brilliant with the maths myself but would the snowball calculator help? Think there might be a link on the main debt free wannabee forum. Haven't used it myself but I know a lot of people use it to work out which debt to pay first to save most money.Every penny's a prisoner

I was going to suggest a snowball too, it will tell you which will be more expensive over time. I use whatsthecost.com. Dont google snowball on its own, unless you are prepared to be .

Particularly happy about that as there was a .63 on the end of the CC balance, nice round numbers for all!
Sig not up to date as I have work expenses on the CC at the moment, which I'm not counting as part of what I owe as I will get the money back.“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”
